Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to ensure the selection of qualified team members.
Make sure telephone is answered according to company policy.
Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed.
Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure.
Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed in an efficient and friendly manner, refunds are issued accurately using the correct payment methods, and returned merchandise is processed or staged in the returns area correctly.
Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
Ensure that Zipline messages are communicated, and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed as assigned.
Make sure all team members are complying with company policies specifically; adhering to the posted work schedule, changes/deviations are being approved by a member of management, and team members are clocking in/out accordingly.
Perform all store opening/closing duties, including performing day end procedures, verifying/securing money/deposits according to company policy, preparing bank deposits as needed, ensuring all night security lights are on, locking doors and securing building, arming/disarming security alarms, and checking/securing/locking delivery vehicle(s) parked in a secure designated area.
Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.
All other duties as assigned.

 For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, BALENCIAGA includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. The position offers hands-on exposure to product strategy, pricing, vendor management, and retail execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.This is not a store-level or visual merchandising role.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Support product selection, assortment planning, and merchandising strategy across multiple categories</li><li>Partner with ownership and sales executives on product decisions, pricing, and customer presentations</li><li>Prepare line sheets, assortment decks, and product presentations for retail partners</li><li>Coordinate product samples, costing, pricing, and margin analysis</li><li>Manage item setup, inventory tracking, and order flow using NetSuite (ERP/CRM)</li><li>Support customer quotes, item maintenance, and follow-ups throughout the sales cycle</li><li>Liaise with vendors, logistics teams, and customers to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment</li><li>Assist with trade show preparation, catalog development, and line launches</li><li>Analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and product results to inform future assortments</li><li>Handle ad hoc projects in support of company ownership and senior leadership</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of experience as a Buyer, Assistant Buyer, or Merchandising professional</li><li>Experience in off-price, value, mass, or high-volume retail strongly preferred</li><li>Strong understanding of product lifecycle, costing, pricing, and margin</li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel; comfort working with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally</li><li>Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment</li><li>Ability to work on-site in New York City (hybrid flexibility after onboarding)</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Salary: $70,000 &ndash; $90,000 base (commensurate with experience)</li><li>Bonus opportunity</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Monday&ndash;Friday schedule</li><li>Opportunity for growth as the company continues to expand</li></ul>Additional InformationThis role is designed for someone who understands retail buying and merchandising and wants to take on broader responsibility in a growing vendor organization.
