POSITION SUMMARY
The Sourcing Associate will be responsible for supporting category management in conjunction with the supply chain &amp; business strategies. Category focus will include Womens and Mens Sweaters. Position Summary: 
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sourcing Specialist-Capital.
 
 
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for providing strategic sourcing services on Capital Acquisition to NYU Langone Health based on predefined service levels. Specialist will request, review, and execute contracts from start to finish. Specialist will collaborate with internal teams, including but not limited to Data Management, Purchasing, Clinical Supply Chain, Planning and Operation, and Value Analysis (VA). The Specialist will also work with external end users including but not limited to Clinical Engineering and Real Estate Development and Facilities serving as the point of accountability for Sourcing throughout the Capital project lifecycle. Specialist works under general direction from the Sourcing Manager. Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with and providing direction to Contract Admins.

Job Responsibilities:

<li>Capital Sourcing- will support in the execution of Capital Sourcing projects for NYU Langone Health ensuring the timely review and processing of capital requests, maintain capital project schedules while negotiating reduction of capital project costs. Assist in developing process improvement plan to streamline the capital acquisition workflow.</li>
<li>Analytical Skills - Must possess the skills to interpret and analyze data both financially and qualitatively in order to present and interpret outcomes. Must be able to explain and convey data to all end users. Must be able to identify sourcing opportunities from data.</li>
<li>Assesses Needs and Initiate Sourcing Projects &ndash; Supports Sourcing Manager and Sourcing Leader in initiating and managing new projects (RFP&rsquo;s) based on high spend profile, potential for savings, upcoming contract expirations, process improvement, and other related value adds.</li>
<li>Process Excellence &ndash; Maintains expiring contracts report, QBR calendar, and system price parity. Provides contract support for new product add and match exceptions.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:

About the Team
 
Our Retail Bank Marketing team has a complex strategic roadmap for its core technology (Salesforce, Adobe), but the existing Senior Product Manager requires dedicated support to translate this vision into daily execution. This new Senior Associate Product Manager will provide that hands-on leadership by embedding directly with the agile pod to manage the product backlog, lead scrum ceremonies, and work with engineers. The primary justification is to accelerate the delivery of tangible features and bridge the gap between high-level strategy and the day-to-day work required to &quot;turn plans into action.

Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or military experience</li><li>
At least 2 years of experience working in Product Management</li></ul> 
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:<ul><li>
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)</li><li>
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration</li></ul></li><li>
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products</li></ul>

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $109,000 - $124,400 for Sr. Associate, Product Management 

New York, NY: $118,900 - $135,700 for Sr. Associate, Product Management 

Richmond, VA: $99,100 - $113,100 for Sr. Associate, Product Management 

Wilmington, DE: $99,100 - $113,100 for Sr. Associate, Product Management 
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate&rsquo;s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
