Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking a skilled and reliable Back of House Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is ideal for a technically capable individual who takes pride in maintaining essential systems and supporting the smooth operation of a luxury hotel environment.
The role
As a Back of House Engineer, you will focus on the maintenance and operation of key plant and equipment across the hotel&rsquo;s back of house areas. You will ensure systems are operating efficiently, safely, and in line with Four Seasons standards, supporting both the practical operation of the hotel and the comfort of our guests.
This is a hands on role requiring technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the wider Engineering team.
What you will do

</li><li>Work with the Building Management System to monitor and optimise performance
</li><li>Maintain water systems and ensure awareness of Legionella control procedures

</li><li>Monitor and manage dosing systems and associated chemicals safely
</li><li>Identify faults, carry out repairs, and escalate issues where required

 Role Overview
 
 
 
 You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of air conditioning systems on a static commercial site in Victoria, London.
 
 
 
 Key Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 5 years' experience within the M&amp;E / air conditioning sector
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience with fault-finding and repair of:
 </li>
 <li>
 VRF systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Split systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently on:
 </li>
 <li>
 Refrigerant recovery
 </li>
 <li>
 Pressure testing
 </li>
 <li>
 Brazed repairs
 </li>
 <li>
 Compressor changes (VRF and split systems)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with major manufacturers such as: Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Panasonic
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to produce clear and detailed remedial and repair reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience working within commercial environments
