In this role you will perform basic to moderately difficult design/drafting assignments requiring a working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques.</p> What You'll Be Doing <ul><li><p>Provide front line project specific support to design teams.</p></li><li><p>Have the ability to create landscape BIM models and drawings within Revit/Civil 3D to fulfill client requirements from LOD 100-LOD 350.</p></li><li><p>Have experience in Clash Detection process using Navisworks.</p></li><li><p>Utilize a workstation to prepare landscape drawings consisting of general arrangements, grading plans, layouts, details, etc., from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain CAD and BIM libraries, continually advancing the platforms' efficiency and utilization.</p></li><li><p>Utilize technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies.</p></li><li><p>Become familiar with various standards and codes such as ISO 19650, BS 1192, etc.</p></li><li><p>Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of Landscape drawings.</p></li><li><p>Understand how to read orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings.</p></li><li><p>Provide ongoing training to existing users for CAD, Revit and Civil 3D.</p></li><li><p>Assist with creation of CAD/BIM standards and the implementation of the same throughout the firm.</p></li><li><p>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.</p></li></ul> What Required Skills You'll Bring <ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering / Architecture / Landscape / Urban Planning/Urban Design from an accredited institution.</p></li><li><p>Minimum three (3) years demonstrable experience of BIM/CAD design production experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably <b>landscape projects</b>.</p></li><li><p>In-depth working knowledge of current Autodesk products such as but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit with proficiency in BIM/CAD processes.</p></li><li><p>Experience with BIM/CAD instruction and training.</p></li><li><p>Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with good capability in oral and written communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory.</p></li></ul> What Desired Skills You'll Bring <ul><li><p>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with different personality types.</p></li></ul><p>Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information. If you want to be a part of our unwavering team and can bring your sense of imagination and determination to every challenge, then this is the right place for you.</p><p>Stantec is currently looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic site team and support on a construction supervision project.</p><p>Qualifications And Technical Competencies</p><p>• Experience in working with both consultants/contractors is preferable.</p><p>• Technically capable of producing and managing LOD 300, 400 & 500 BIM models.</p><p>• Will ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM modelling and the collaboration and coordination with other disciplines for design-changes and model challenges.</p><p>• Monitor and validate As-Built model tagging with all related project documents e.g. The H&S file(s) and O&M manual(s) etc.</p><p>• Manage federated model setups for interdisciplinary review and clash resolution.</p><p>• Perform clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution using advanced BIM software and tools.</p><p>• Implement BIM execution plans, workflows, protocols, and quality control measures for each project in line with the stakeholders BIR.</p><p>• Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders to align BIM deliverables with project requirements and expectations.</p><p>• Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure model accuracy.</p><p>• Prepare own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings.</p><p>• Support project Manager in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.</p><p>• Support contractor BIM team with planning and construction activities with proposed 4D sequencing model(s) review and progress reporting.</p><p>• Provide progress and performance updates to project manager on fortnightly and monthly basis.</p><p>• Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.</p><p>• Must have solid understanding CDE platforms like BIM 360/ProjectWise, ACC.</p><p>• Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information Model (AIM) with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) requirements for eg. Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBIE) and/or client specific requirements.</p><p>• Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.</p><p>• Collaborate and coordinate with the Project manager design-changes and model challenges.</p><p>• Work closely with the Project Manager to support the in-house architectural, general engineering, and civil design discipline teams with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training</p><p>• Understanding of Dynamo BIM is necessary.</p><p>• Technically capable of handling point cloud data.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Experience (essential)</p><p>• A degree, ideally in Architecture, Structure, Mechanical or equivalent</p><p>• A minimum of 10 years BIM experience</p><p>• Proven building project experience.</p><p>• Manage / Update BIM Project Documents.</p><p>• 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification.</p><p>• 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks and experience with Primavera P6 preferred.</p><p>• Experience working in a Design Consultancy and / or Contractor.</p><p>• Extensive experience in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD, Civil 3D</p><p>• Advance understanding of creating Revit families.</p><p>• Working knowledge of Information Standards ISO 19650 (Parts 1 & 2 at a minimum), PAS 1192, BS1192, MIDP and TIDP creation and MIDP Automation.</p><p>• Knowledge of CDE platforms (BIM 360, ProjectWise, Aconex).</p><p>• Experience conducting clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage.</p><p>• Experience creating/tailoring project setups to suit the client.</p><p>• Candidate must have worked on large scale projects.</p><p>• Possess the ability to Develop Analytical Reports and Presentations.</p><p>• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p></p><p><strong>About Stantec:</strong></p><p>We're active members of the communities we serve.
