</ul>Experience and Skills Requirements
<ul><li>Minimum of 7 yrs experience</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of Civil Structural Design practices.</li>
<li>Able to plan and organize projects from inception to start up</li>
<li>Ability to work in and foster a strong team environment with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Knowledge of chemical or refinery facilities and integration of project work in these facilities</li>
<li>Strong safety champion who will lead the project in achieving zero incidents and injuries</li>

This position is primarily in an office environment. However, field investigation of in-plant piping, civil, structural, or mechanical equipment requires the ability to don personnel protective equipment (PPE) such as flame-retardant clothing (FRC), hart hat, safety eyewear, safety footwear, fall protection harnesses or other specialty PPE. In this role, you will be a part of the CAD team, of the EXP Energy Services group based in Houston, Texas and have the opportunity to work on designing, permitting, and constructing major energy projects including high-pressure oil and gas interstate pipelines and energy transition projects such as Carbon Capture and Sequestration, CO2 pipeline and Hydrogen. 
What a day at EXP has in store for you
<ul><li>AutoCAD Plant 3D pipeline related facilities; material specification, including 3D modelling, P&amp;IDs, ISOs, Site/plot plan, plan and section drawings, general arrangements, BOMs.
</li><li>CADWorx drawing production for pipeline related facilities; including 3D modelling, P&amp;IDs, ISOs, Site/plot plan, plan and section drawings, general arrangements, BOMs.
</li><li>Train current CAD staff on AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or CADWorx software.
</li><li>Coordination with project teams to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and meet the requirements specified.
</li><li>Prioritize tasks and balance workload according to project needs.
</li><li>Work on a regular basis with the Engineering Manager and CAD team to maintain consistency between Engineering deliverables.
</li><li>Assist the engineering, environmental, civil survey, permitting, and land groups to ensure that all drafting needs are being met.
</li><li>Ensure that all data being used in CAD drawings, matches 100% with the project GIS databases.
</li><li>Work with Senior Drafting Technicians/CAD Leads to establish standard operating procedures and perform quality control checks on deliverables to ensure they are created in compliance with the established procedures.

<ul><li>A minimum of five (5-10) years of related professional experience.
</li><li>Experience working on interstate oil/gas pipeline projects is required.
</li><li>Understanding of AutoCAD Plant 3D in the context of preparing material specification, including 3D modelling, P&amp;IDs, ISOs, Site/plot plan, plan and section drawings, general arrangements, BOMs.
</li><li>Understanding of CADWorx in the context of preparing 3D facility model, P&amp;IDs, ISOs, Site/plot plan, plan and section drawings, general arrangements, BOMs and provide training to other CAD staff.
</li><li>Understanding of how to integrate GIS data in CAD drawings to ensure all drawings are created using the latest approved project data from GIS.
</li><li>Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D in the context of preparing site specific crossing drawings, construction typical drawings, pipeline facility layouts, mechanical drawings, as-built alignment sheets, property sketches and plats is a plus.
