What will I be doing?

The Commercial Director is a role model for the commercial community within the owned and managed portfolio in EMEA, and develops teams and individuals in these functions whilst being a Key business partner to the Hotel General Manager. They support hotels in deriving the most value from Hilton Sales teams. The Commercial Directors role is key to seize new opportunities through strong customer relations and works as an Ambassador for the company with our Owners and Key Stakeholders.
The role ensures that commercial management strategies are set for all revenue streams and that all systems are used to their full potential to yield the highest possible amount of revenue from all available space, whether in Rooms, Meeting Space, outlets or other revenue departments. Driving overall FMS results gaining an Unfair share through a disciplined execution of commercial activities.
A Commercial Director will be lead, coach, develop, recruit and retain future talents. He/she will manage performance, develop and evaluate the commercial team members on the agreed KPI&rsquo;s, whilst working effectively as part of a 4D structure on property. Specifically, a Commercial Director will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
<ul><li>Directly accountable for driving the Top line Budget and Forecast by implementing a commercial strategy and business plan through to execution using the Hilton Commercial Focus process and all available business tools and intelligence available. <li>Support various On Property, RDOS&rsquo;s, and Area Marketing teams in coordinating hotel level marketing, sales and public relations activities. Liaise with regional support and brand teams to provide maximum benefit to hotel performance.</li>
<li>Support the Cluster Revenue Managers/On Property Revenue Manager and RMCC to establish an optimal mix, review and validate forecasts, develop strategies for different demand periods, and review and approve retail and group pricing strategies.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, owners, hotel teams, Hilton matrix support teams to ensure commercial benefits of the hotel.</li>

Support in planning, configuring, and documenting new offers, including drafting high-level technical requirements</li><li>
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement</li><li>
Generate monthly CVM-related reports for the CVM, digital, and analytics director</li><li>
Maintain effective coordination across teams when launching new CVM initiatives</li><li>
Prioritize tasks based on commercial value, strategic alignment, and customer impact</li><li>
Assist with customer base segmentation analysis to identify micro-segment targets</li><li>
Research market trends (loyalty, retention, churn, etc.) to inform CVM strategies</li><li>
Extract and analyze internal and external data to uncover trends, behavioral shifts, and performance evolution</li><li>
Design and deploy predictive models to support business objectives, including churn prediction, upsell propensity, and offer personalization</li><li>
Develop customer profiles and segmentation models to improve targeting accuracy across products, channels, and lifecycle stages</li><li>
Build internal and external use cases such as market benchmarking, penetration analysis, and data monetization solutions</li><li>
Translate business challenges (e.g., stagnant penetration rates, low conversion) into data-driven solutions</li><li>
Partner with commercial and marketing teams to define relevant segments and optimize campaign strategies</li><li>
Contribute to the development of real-time decisioning tools that enhance personalization and improve customer engagement</li><li>
Support in offer sizing, profitability analysis, and feasibility studies</li><li>
Develop and maintain offer documentation and support materials</li><li>
Liaise with marketing teams to incorporate customer behavior and market insights into campaign design</li><li>
Monitor and report on operational and financial KPIs, ensuring alignment with set targets</li><li>
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies as mandated by statutory bodies and Zain Group</li><li>
Perform all the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities in compliance to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to the supervisor/manager immediately.</li><li>
Be aware of, and adhere to, all environmental requirements as set by the statutory bodies in Kuwait, or by the published policies of Zain Group/Kuwait.</li><li>

Education Level/ Major:
Bachelor's Degree required; MIS / BI / Data Analyst &amp; Data Science or a related field
