  We are seeking an attorney who wants to use their law degree to help people, but get paid a livable salary to do it. Our firm specializes in complex consumer protection work. The bulk of our cases are class actions or mass arbitrations, but we handle a number of individual matters as well. The cases are complex - they range from RICO lawsuits targeting the &ldquo;free trial scam&rdquo; to mass arbitrations against online car sellers who won&rsquo;t give people the titles to their cars.

A few examples of our smaller cases include lifting a five-year old judgment on a 90% interest loan by using phone metadata to prove the client wasn&rsquo;t actually served, recovering money that was fraudulently removed from indigent clients&rsquo; bank accounts, or recovering on breach of warranty claims for clients who&rsquo;ve spent entire summers without an air conditioner.

  We&rsquo;re looking for someone with civil litigation experience who can take over cases and handle them with minimal supervision. We do not expect you to know everything; but you need to be able to (i) know how to look up what you don&rsquo;t know, (ii) know that you don&rsquo;t know something and need to look, and (iii) be able and willing to ask someone else in the firm when you need help. This person will be expected to handle discovery, briefing, arguing motions before courts and arbitrators, etc. You will also be involved in a team on larger, more complex cases.

We have developed a proven litigation strategy that has resulted in success in approximately 99% of the matters we handle.</p><p>Due to continued growth, we are expanding our roster of appearance counsel across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.</p><p><b>Position Overview</b><br/>We are seeking licensed Pennsylvania attorneys to serve as appearance counsel for debt defense matters. Appearance counsel will attend hearings on behalf of our clients, primarily in Magisterial District Courts throughout Pennsylvania.</p><p>Our clients are Pennsylvania consumers who have been sued by third party debt buyers such as LVNV Funding, Midland Credit Management, Portfolio Recovery Associates, Crown Asset Management, and similar entities. These cases typically involve purchased credit card, personal loan, or retail account debts where the plaintiff must prove ownership of the account, admissible business records, and the accuracy of the alleged balance.</p><p>The vast majority of these matters are straightforward magisterial hearings governed by a repeatable procedural strategy that we have refined over more than a decade of practice. In many cases, opposing counsel lacks the necessary witnesses or documentation to meet their burden, which allows these matters to be resolved efficiently and professionally.</p><p>Training and clear written instructions are provided for every appearance. </div><div>The Attorney General&rsquo;s Office of Senior Protection &amp; Mediation provides no-cost mediation services to assist individuals in resolving disputes with businesses relating to the purchase of goods, products, and services in the Commonwealth, and identifies businesses for which additional investigation by the Office of Consumer Protection may be warranted.<br>

We are seeking a candidate with exceptional verbal and written communication, analytical, and organizational skills to mediate and manage a consumer complaint caseload. The successful candidate will conduct voluntary mediation by email, telephone, and mail to attempt to resolve disputes between businesses and consumers without legal action. All employees are expected to perform at the highest level in proving services to the public, while treating all consumers and business representatives with professionalism and respect.<br>

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Mediate complaints between businesses and consumer (i.e. Disputing Parties) to negotiate mutually agreeable resolutions.
</li><li>Manage a caseload of complaints and ensure timelines for follow-up actions are met.
</li><li>Review and evaluate consumer complaints and supporting documents for potential violations of consumer protection laws and regulations.
</li><li>Answer consumer questions and provide education related to mediation services.
</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>

<p>We are a consumer advocacy company assisting timeshare owners with voluntary exits, deed-back processes, and contract resolutions. We are seeking an experienced attorney with <b>direct timeshare exit experience</b> to support our in-house case management team on a <b>limited-scope, escalation-only basis</b>.</p><p>This is <b>not</b> a full litigation role and <b>not</b> a volume-based fulfillment partnership. Our internal case managers handle day-to-day files, documentation, and client communication.
