 Designation :- Senior Logistics Officer
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Job Objective :-
 
 Performing routine logistics activities, transportation and management, coordinating with drivers, movement/tracking of products and shipments, inventory management, import /export activities, dealing with freight forwarders, timely delivery of products safely, consistent follow-ups, necessary documentation while adhering to QHSE policies and procedures.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities/Duties :-
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Responsible for transportation movement, tracking and controlling delivery to clients&rsquo; sites/rigs etc. across different locations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with the drivers who are from outsourcing company to ensure smooth movement of products through trucks, tankers etc. of different types and sizes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Mobilization of equipment/products, loading, delivery etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Transportation, loading, movement, mobilization, delivery, coordinating with the drivers etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise, oversee, and plan every activity that relates to inventory control
 </li>
 <li>
 Review the minimum inventory level with country manager &amp; logistic to bring them up to date regarding stock inflow and outflow.
 </li>
 <li>
 Compile inventory information and present it to management for effective decision making, which may include the need for restock and so on
 </li>
 <li>
 Alongside with warehouse manager ensure the proper receipt of material, preservation &amp; distribution of chemicals without making any loss or damage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide accurate information on inventory to customers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate Interim/Annual physical counts on different PPC locations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain Inventory records in Oracle to properly account for issues, returns, receipts of new materials and associated back orders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review balance of inventory and conduct cycle counts
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate annual physical counts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist Logistics Manager with the shipments to and from warehouses
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare Sales &amp; Service Invoices and its distribution
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare export documentation as required by the Logistics Department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reconciliation of warehouse inventory with System inventory warehouses/Rigs periodically
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with freight forwarder and clear the import shipment and obtain necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Review Freight forwarder service invoice and forward to Logistics Manager for approval.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow and adhere to QHSE policies and processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow and adhere to PPC policies and processes.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Ability &amp; Skills :-
 
 
 
 &bull; Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
 
 
 &bull; An ability to handle the pressures arising from having to meet deadlines and targets.
 
 
 &bull; Teamwork and collaboration.
 
 
 &bull; Good knowledge of drilling fluids products &amp; equipment&rsquo;s is a plus
 
 
 &bull; Well organized and able to work on own initiative
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Experience :-
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3-5 years of experience in logistics preferably in Oil &amp; gas industry
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in managing transportation, delivery, dealing with drivers is mandatory
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Academic Qualifications: -
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor degree
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Accountabilities and Performance Measures :-
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Timely delivery of products safely.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the proper receipt, preservation and distribution of chemicals without making any loss or damages to the Materials and Equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitoring daily activities performed by the warehouse team to ensure daily targets are achieved.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparing and maintaining logistic plan in weekly &amp; monthly basis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparing stock discrepancy reports with supporting documents and making system adjustments for correcting the inventory.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparing all types of inventory repots.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting logistics manager with customs clearance to avoid detention &amp; demurrage charges.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible to maintain records of shipping documents, GRN, Transfer tickets, Delivery tickets and sales invoice in a responsible manner.
 </li>
 </ul>
