Role Purpose</p><ul>
<li>Oversee and continuously improve the hotel&rsquo;s Occupational Safety &amp; Health Management System (OSHMS) in full alignment with Abu Dhabi OSHAD/ADOSH System Framework (Manual v4.0, Mechanisms, Codes of Practice).</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with DCT Abu Dhabi Hotel Classification requirements including safety, security, building access, guest areas, F&amp;B operations and staff development standards.</li>

Key Responsibilities</p><ul>
<li>Maintain, update and audit the full OSHMS per OSHAD/ADOSH requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure OSHAD entity/practitioner requirements and administrative mechanisms are</li>
<li>Translate 5‑star DCT classification criteria into SOPs, checklists and compliance audits.</li>
<li>Lead hazard identification &amp; risk assessments (HIRA) across all guest and staff areas, covering PPE, First Aid, Legionella, manual handling, heat stress, workplace wellness and job safety analysis.</li>
<li>Manage emergency preparedness, including fire life safety systems, drills, evacuations and business continuity planning.</li>
<li>Oversee contractor safety, permit‑to‑work, and isolation controls.</li>
<li>Lead all incident investigations, root‑cause analyses, corrective actions and statutory notifications for guests, associates and third party incident and reporting to DCT.</li>
<li>Verify implementation of HACCP, including critical control points (receiving, storage, prep, cooking, cooling, hot/cold holding, allergen control.</li>
<li>Maintain full EFST certification coverage for food handlers.</li>
<li>Execute ADAFSA (Abu Dhabi Agriculture and food safety Authority) self‑inspections, documentation and regulatory follow‑ups as well as GFSA (Global Food Safety Audit) compliance.</li>
<li>Lead property‑wide Brand Standards Assessment (BSA) readiness with mock audits, documentation, service coaching and preventive maintenance.</li>
<li>Ensure DCT readiness through routine inspections, evidence management and timely closure of findings.</li>
<li>Coordinate third‑party audits (ISO 9001/22000/45001 where applicable, insurance risk surveys) and embed outcomes into QMS.</li>
<li>Deliver OSHAD CoP‑aligned training (First Aid &amp; medical emergency, manual handling, heat stress, signage, ergonomics, workplace violence).</li>
<li>Conduct Marriott brand standards and service excellence training aligned with BSA categories.</li>

Qualifications</p><br>

<li>Internal auditor qualifications in ISO 9001/22000/ Lead Auditor - 45001 preferred.</li>
<li>5&ndash;8 years of combined EHS and Quality/Brand leadership in luxury 5‑star hospitality.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience dealing with DCT Abu Dhabi inspections and compliance as well as ADOSH.</li>

JOB PURPOSE:</b></p>
<p>
To manage, plan and control all aspects of Port Operations and Maintenance in Al Taweelah and handling of raw materials within the port areas including ATA Interface support and operations (Bauxite &amp; Caustic Soda), as directed by the Senior Manager.</p><br>

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</b></p>

Al Taweelah Port Operations</p>
<p>
Day-to-Day Operations</p>
<ul>
<li>Ensures the implementation of all KPI&rsquo;s, monitored and targets are achieved in his area of assignment.</li>
<li>Ensures that raw material distribution is followed in conjunction with the Senior Manager, according to the supply strategy by monitoring the quality of raw materials to ensure the product quality is met by the customer&rsquo;s requirement (Reduction, Carbon Plant, Power plant and ATA operations)</li>
<li>Ensures the safe operation &amp; maintenance of:</li>
<li>Alumina/Coke Ship unloading operation, storage and delivery to Smelter.</li>
<li>Tanker loading/unloading operation</li>
<li>Bauxite ship unloading operation and delivery to ATA Refinery.</li>
<li>Caustic Soda ship unloading operation and storage.</li>
<li>Caustic Bladder storage and pumping facility to ATA Refinery.</li>
<li>Process water storage and pumping facility for Bauxite and Caustic facilities</li>
<li>Diesel Fuel Oil ship unloading operation and delivery to Power Plant.</li>
<li>Ensures the efficient, prompt and safe supply of liquid pitch through road tankers from Jebal Ali to Taweelah smelter.</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with ATA operations for the supply of caustic soda on an agreed supply strategy plan.</li>
<li>Liaise with ATA operation for Bauxite ship unloading operation.</li>
<li>Monitor Bauxite &amp; Caustic Ship Unloading performance and report it to ATA Management on agreed intervals.</li>
<li>Develop, revise and update SOP&rsquo;s and Safety Procedures related to Taweelah Port activities and impact assessment on existing SOPs and its revisions after completion of induction of new equipment related to ATA.</li>
<li>Review &amp; Sign off Method Statement and Risk Assessment documents for all brown field works</li>
<li>Manage trucking between two sites to cover the shortfall of raw material during conveyor outages, emergencies and whenever required</li>
<li>Prepares and submits to the senior Manager Emergency Contingency plans for all emergency scenarios and situations.</li>
<li>Be aware of marine, custom laws, shipping terms and conditions to be observed and discuss with the Senior Manager where appropriate.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Customer Care</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Supports the Senior Manager in ensuring that all functions of Port, Raw Material unloading, Storage and Delivery to Smelter/ATA Operations in assigned area are carried out efficiently, safely and achieves the EGA satisfaction;</li>
<li>Supports the Senior Manager in implementing Agreed SLA&rsquo;s to guarantee internal and external customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Conduct regular customer care surveys with internal customers to fulfil their requests in timely and effective manners - Internal Customers: Reduction, Paste Plant Anode Baking Furnace, Power Plant, ATA Operations (Digestion &amp; Clarification) - External Customers: ADPC, Shipping Agents, Ship Masters, ADNOC, 3rd Party Surveyors.</li>

<li>Conduct mechanical/electrical walk downs prior to Plant Safety Acceptance Notices for new equipment and systems handovers.</li>
<li>Follow up with warranty claims management system post-handover of new equipment and systems related to ATA.</li>
<li>Represent EGA in front of the external forums, marines, and port terminal parties</li>
<li>Ensure that legal, local and federal legislations are met, monitored and controls are exercised continuously for all raw materials.</li>

<p><b>Environment, Health, Safety and Quality</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensures adherence to the local rules and regulations set by EAD (Environment Abu Dhabi Department) and conducts EHSQ audits and safety walkabout to ensure EGA aligned with the certifies and standard&rsquo;s.</li>
<li>Assists in conducting risk management studies based on all standard operation procedures.</li>
<li>Monitor the emissions and spills of Alumina, Coke, Bauxite and Caustic and take appropriate actions to ensure that equipment / systems are operated in environmentally friendly manners and as per EHS standards without affecting neighbouring companies.</li>
<li>Ensures effective boreholes sampling are taken from the surrounding of caustic storage bladder to avoid soil and sea water contamination.</li>
<li>Follow the quality standards of ISO certification and prepare for regular auditing by internal or external auditors, including certification bodies for implementation of ISO standards across EGA.</li>
