Basic of PLC and automation is desired only.</li><li>

Steel toe boots required.</li><li>

Job Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Electrician is responsible for ensuring optimal operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.</li><li>Performs general electronic inspections, diagnosis, repairs and replacements autonomously.</li><li>Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.</li><li>Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions.</li><li>Performs electric and electronic activities such as low voltage panel repairs, PLC programs loading or DC/AC engines speed control.</li><li>Detects abnormalities on sensors, actuators or variable speed drives.</li><li>Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.</li><li>Performs electrical, electronic, automation and electromechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment, overhead cranes, electrical installations of the building (600 VAC and below), offices installations.</li><li>Knowledge of performing or assisting on electrical installations using EMT, rigid, liquid tight conduits; install wire ways, disconnects, junction box; run wires, cables, network cables according to NEC.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on electrical machines and equipment.</li><li>Coordinate maintenance plans and schedules with the production supervisors.</li><li>Participate in the creation of preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.</li></ul>

Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Associated degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.</li><li>At least 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician, particularly with low voltage controls and 3-phase systems in an industrial setting.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment,</li><li>Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems.</li><li>Be able to read and understand blueprints and CAD.</li><li>Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Have working knowledge of OSHA regulations.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication competencies.</li><li>Self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision.</li><li>Strong organizational and time managements skills.</li><li>Must be able to travel when needed.</li><li>Must be able to work weekends, holidays if necessary.</li></ul>
