It is the role of the Designer to design process equipment and create facility layouts consistent with GasTech design and process standards and including all client specific design requirements. This position uses solid modeling to create detailed designs, generates the manufacturing drawings and bills of materials (BOMs), while preparing all ancillary relevant design documentation in support of performing the client contract. The responsibility of the position is to provide a design that is complete, accurate, and understandable, while meeting schedule and cost targets. All designs and documentation shall meet or exceed client requirements on each assigned project. Requirements:

Requirements</b></p><ul><li>
1-3 years experience in sheet metal design, with a preference for medium voltage switchgear design or UL891 switchboard</li><li>
Knowledge of the typical mechanical design principles</li><li>
Experience in creating 3D renderings and side views based on single line and elevation drawings</li><li>
Familiarity with ANSI, ASME, NEC and UL standards</li><li>
AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience preferred</li><li>
Strong organizational and time management skills required</li><li>
Ability to work in a multi project multitask environment with changing priorities required</li><li>
Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills required</li><li>
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required</li><li>
US work authorization without sponsorship required</li><li>
