 Position Description
 
 
 
 The Program Specialist provides comprehensive administrative support to the English Language Department for corporate English Language (EL) programs, encompassing both online and in-person formats. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of program activities, services, and reporting. In collaboration with the EL Department, the Program Specialist contributes to the continuous improvement of program operations, enhancing overall efficiency and ensuring an exceptional experience for all participants.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities

 The Refugee Legal Aid Program provides advice and representation to refugees seeking recognition by UNHCR through refugee status determination procedures in Egypt and assists refugees in accessing resettlement to safe third countries. The Refugee Legal Aid Program is seeking a Resettlement Legal Officer to assist vulnerable refugees in their resettlement process.
 
 
 
 Role
 
 
 
 Under the supervision of the Resettlement Program Coordinator, the Resettlement Legal Officer is responsible for the provision of legal advice and representation to urban refugees in matters related to resettlement. This includes: assessment of initial requests for assistance with resettlement; the screening of cases to identify those of heightened vulnerability fitting UNHCR&rsquo;s resettlement criteria; drafting referral documents in support of claims for resettlement; reviewing intake screenings of volunteer legal advisors; and providing advice to refugees in all matters related to resettlement through drop-in services.  Key Responsibilities:

 Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Egyptian National Curriculum for Primary Stage students, promoting the development of core English language skills

 Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student curiosity, independence, and collaborative learning

 Utilize various teaching methodologies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and enhance students' language comprehension and communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Regularly assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and informal evaluations, providing timely feedback and support to foster academic growth
 </li>
 <li>
 Build positive relationships with students and encourage their active participation in classroom discussions and activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with parents and caregivers to communicate student progress and involve them in the learning process
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the curriculum with interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities
 </li>

 Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in teaching and curriculum development

 Requirements

 Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a relevant field
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience teaching English to Primary Stage students is required
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 1 year teaching experience, particularly with the National Curriculum
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of English language, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
 </li>
 <li>
 Creative and adaptable teaching methodologies that promote active learning and student engagement
 </li>
 <li>
