 Role holder will provide environment, health, safety (EHS) support at country level to the all partners to ensure main EHS risks are addressed, and compliance is maintained. Role holder will be required strategies and implement actions such as risk reduction, improvement in environmental performance and most importantly in ensuring development of safety behaviour by all employees. Provide leadership and technical resources to ensure business compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental (including product related) government regulations as well as Rockwell Automation procedures. Coordinate assessment and implementation of programme conformance need to meet specialized customer EHS programme demands.

 Functional Expertise

 Lead the implementation and maintenance of Rockwell Automation's EHS management systems to ensure compliance with local laws and internal policies.

 Ensure that environmental, health and safety assessments, personal protective equipment, procedures, training and other control measures by regulation and Rockwell Automation policy and procedures are provided for the field and non-operations personnel.

 Support in providing regular update to EHS supervisor or leadership team along with commentary on overall safety culture status, actions taken and way forward.  Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

 Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing EHS programs, conducting risk assessments, and incident investigation.

 Hands-on experience with various maintenance techniques (preventive, predictive, corrective) and familiarity with CMMS.

 IIHS Campus Development is looking to hire a project engineer with around 3 to 5 years of work experience. This is a regular full-time position in the Campus Development team, based out of Bengaluru.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Activities and Tasks
 
 
 
 Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:

 Site supervision of the Senior Faculty Housing and Plaza Block;
 </li>
 <li>
 Building set-out marking and infrastructure setting out using total station;
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparing construction schedules, monitoring and reporting the progress of work;
 </li>
 <li>
 Management of site activities and all functions of the project including supervising the progress at site and monitoring the site labour force;
 </li>
 <li>
 Determining the site material requirements in advance and co-ordinating with the procurement engineer/ project manager for timely placement of orders;
 </li>
 <li>
 Verifying measurements for billing and giving approvals in finalisation of bills;
 </li>

 Site survey and finalisation of quantity as per execution plan;

 <li>

 The ideal candidate should have:

 A professional degree in Civil Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience; prior experience in large scale building projects with added skills working in passive buildings using mud blocks/ rammed earth will be given preference;

 Demonstrable knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices and methods, environmental regulations, engineering project management methods, workplace safety, budgeting, employee supervision and personnel management;
