Assist the Director of Events preparing a rota ensuring all events are staffed and that all casual labor is booked well in advance.</li><li>
Assist the Director of Events preparing a forecast and submitting to the F&amp;B Management weekly, showing the cost of the labor for the following week and to ensure that this cost is within agreed budgets.</li><li>
Assist the Director of Events submitting an actual figure to the F&amp;B Management for all casual and agency labor at the end of each month.</li></ul></div><div>
Operations:</div><div><ul><li>
Manage the banqueting department so that all guest expectations are met in line with agreed budgets.</li><li>
Ensure that a supervisor is always designated to each event.</li><li>
Carry out necessary preparation in planning forthcoming events for equipment, linen, glassware, silver.</li><li>
Ensure supervision of all full-time and casual staff during the set up and tear down of each event.</li><li>
Take responsibility for all supplier items being delivered for events, ensuring items are well maintained during use and that all items are checked and counted before being picked up by the supplier.</li><li>
Ensure rooms are set up and ready, 1 hour before the event or as specified on the Banqueting Event Order and in accordance with Rosewood Doha standards.</li><li>
Ensure supervision of each event in accordance with the guest&rsquo;s wishes as specified on the event sheet.</li><li>
Supervise the full-time associate and casual staff during each event.</li><li>
Conduct any on-the-job training for new associates and ensure company standards are achieved.</li><li>
Ensure all casual staff are given basic training, covering all aspects of the Casual Worker Handbook and training in the standards of set-up and service within Events and overall standards of Rosewood Doha.</li><li>
Continually monitor the grooming standard of both full-time associate and casual staff, ensuring it consistently meets Rosewood Doha and Events Department standards.</li><li>
Prepare a daily Operations meeting to discuss events, shift planning and any other communication as is needed. Organizing monthly team meeting and Daily Calling every day with Director of Events.</li><li>
Attending the weekly Banqueting Events Order (BEO) communication meeting, raising any queries in relation to the BEO&rsquo;s and developing a stronger understanding of upcoming events and clients.</li><li>
Ensure that the Events Department arranges a pre-event briefing at least one day before the events with the sales &amp; marketing department.</li><li>
Introduce himself/herself to the organizer of each event, explaining that they are in charge of their event and how the organizer can find them, should they require anything.</li><li>
Ensure that when the rooms are not in use, that they are left neat and tidy.</li><li>
Ensure that if any accidents occur to guests, they are dealt with efficiently, and that the F&amp;B Management is informed.</li><li>
Take responsibility for any last-minute changes the organizer may make, and act upon them.</li><li>
Ensure any accidents involving associates are notified to the First Aider on duty and ensure that accident reports are completed or notified to the Director of Events / T&amp;C Department.</li><li>
Act on any additional requests made by the S&amp;M Department that are in the interests of the guest and the company standards.</li><li>
Ensure that all items relevant to the event are posted in Micros for accurate invoicing.</li><li>
Ensure that the F&amp;B Management are kept informed of guest complaints at all times, and deal with or ensure that complaints from guests are dealt with immediately.</li><li>
Take on all other responsibilities as outlined by the Director of Events.</li><li>
Adjust schedules throughout the week to meet the business demands.</li><li>
Check bar set-ups for cleanliness, organization and agreement with group requirements and departmental standards; resolve any problems.</li><li>
Check buffet tables/receptions/coffee breaks for cleanliness, attractiveness, layout; ensure agreement with function order and departmental standards; resolve any problems.</li><li>
Assist Event operations associate with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.</li></ul></div><div>

<li>Manage and supervise banquet operations, ensuring events are executed flawlessly from start to finish.</li>
<li>Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and provide tailored service to exceed expectations.</li>
<li>Coordinate with kitchen, catering, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.</li>
<li>Oversee banquet setup, including d&eacute;cor, seating arrangements, and audio-visual needs.</li>
<li>Supervise and train banquet staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and operational procedures.</li>
<li>Ensure timely and efficient service during events, maintaining high standards of hospitality.</li>
<li>Handle client inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and promptly.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels of banquet equipment and supplies, ensuring adequate stock is available for events.</li>
<li>Manage budgets and control costs while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.</li>
<li>Oversees the preparation, presentation and service of Banquet &amp; Outside Catering</li>
<li>Coordinates with the Purchasing Manager for special purchases requirements relating to the banqueting &amp; OSC and attend to the Food &amp; Beverage departmental meetings and BEO meetings</li>

<p><b>What we need from you:</b></p>

<li>Proven experience as a Banquet Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.</li>
<li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.</li>
<li>Knowledge of food and beverage operations, event planning, and customer service.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing event requirements.</li>
<li>Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office and event management software.</li>
<li><b>Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential. Arabic language skills are a plus</b></li>
