This role will be responsible of the safe and effective delivery of assigned medium/large project or projects within an overall portfolio of brownfield modifications for client onshore facilities and offshore platforms, including large production and processing complexes within an Engineering and Procurement services contracting model. To effectively undertake Project Management duties, in line with the &ldquo;Wood way&rdquo;, to lead and direct the successful delivery of each project, from early solution development through Detailed Design Engineering, Procurement and the preparation of projects for the Construction, Completions and Commissioning phase (by others), followed by the successful completion of the project Close Out phase, post-handover to Operations. Demonstrate delivery excellence for assigned projects, in line with relevant Wood and contract specific Project Management processes and procedures, as well as in accordance with the Contract Execution Plan (and where applicable, Project Execution Plan). Provide certainty and confidence to the client and Wood project sponsor, that each project is being delivered safely with a strong focus on effort optimization, cost efficiency &amp; control, risk management, schedule adherence and stakeholder management. Ensure delivery of assigned project and/or projects within the agreed commercial framework, taking measures to manage financial threats/opportunities to the client and Wood throughout. Ensure a full understanding of, and compliance with, the terms and conditions of the agreed EPs framework agreement reimbursable contract, in all aspects of delivering the work.</div>
 <div>Project Execution
<ul><li>Responsible for project HSSEQ leadership, ensuring a program of initiatives and a suitable auditing schedule is established and followed to ensure that HSSE and quality management issues are proactively addressed throughout project delivery.
</li><li>Categorize assigned projects into the appropriate Tier in line with Wood&rsquo;s Right Size Solutions procedure, using the right people, tiering tools, etc. to assess and adopt the corresponding right sized (tiered/scaled) approach to ensure efficient and effective delivery, commensurate with the size and complexity of each project scope of work.
</li><li>Create Interface Management Plans and use interface registers as applicable depending on project size/tier in line with Wood and contract specific procedures.
</li><li>Responsible for the framing of project scopes of work, per phase, and facilitating the preparation of distinct CTRs, cost estimates, achievable delivery schedules, inclusive of suitable growth &amp; contingency allowances depending on the level of scope definition and uncertainty per stage, then gaining client approval, reviewing contractual stipulations in client issued Purchase Orders and managing the successful execution of work under the terms of the contract for the agreed scope.
</li><li>Assist the Portfolio Delivery Manager with overall contract Profit &amp; Loss, by delivering assigned projects within the agreed (and realistic) cost and schedule promises, ensuring Wood&rsquo;s commercial and financial framework is understood and complied with, to ensure contractual liability risks are managed carefully, project benefits are realized, and overhead costs are minimized throughout project delivery.
</li><li>Provide input into annual budget and forecast determinations, ensure the timely and correct allocation of costs to each project, ensure the on-time completion of weekly timecards, facilitate weekly client review and approval of hours booked per project in support of avoiding delays with accounts payable/billing and cash collection.

</li><li>Pursue and develop opportunities for innovation, such as digitalization and the use of applicable new technology where economically and technically viable, utilize Wood&rsquo;s work share and global engineering centres (GEC) where appropriate, to bring efficiency and optimum value to Wood and the client.

 🚀 What will your mission be?
 
 
 
 The Project Manager (PM) leads and oversees projects across the Middle East. Depending on demand in Growth‑Markets countries, the PM may also be allocated to projects elsewhere in the region. The role requires a proven record in project management, team leadership, and software delivery; familiarity with public tendering; risk assessment and mitigation; budget and execution‑plan development; shared‑resource management; and a genuine interest in water and environmental issues. The PM drives projects end‑to‑end, delivering on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 💼 Your responsibilities will include:
 
 
 
 &bull; Lead end‑to‑end digital‑solutions projects for water and wastewater organisations (public and private), ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
 
 
 &bull; Develop and maintain detailed project plans: schedules, budgets, and resource needs.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor progress; identify and mitigate risks and issues.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure delivery meets contractual obligations and customer requirements.
 
 
 &bull; Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
 
 
 &bull; Liaise with customers, internal teams, and third‑party suppliers to keep communication clear and timely.
 
 
 &bull; Apply Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies as appropriate.
 
 
 &bull; Support public tendering processes and manage public contracts.
 
 
 &bull; Conduct risk classification, prioritisation, and mitigation planning.
 
 
 &bull; Implement best‑management practices and lead due‑diligence processes arising from the risk‑assessment analysis.
 
 
 &bull; Build and maintain execution budgets and plans for complex projects and programmes, proactively managing change.
 
 
 &bull; Implement effective resource‑management techniques, including across shared teams.
 
 
 &bull; Identify and pursue upsell opportunities; provide direct support to Sales when required.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 🌟 What will make you stand out?
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 5&ndash;7 years in project delivery or operations management, ideally in the water industry or digital solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven leadership of complex projects, multidisciplinary teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to influence C‑suite and technical directors on digital‑solution projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing multi-regional project teams and navigating varied local regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track record in digital‑transformation initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to grow revenue by adopting innovative ideas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of the full water cycle (resources, supply, sanitation, irrigation, reuse, discharge).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience or knowledge of software in at least one water‑cycle branch (preferably sanitation, potable water, or resources).
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil, Hydraulic, Environmental Engineering, or a related field with water‑cycle expertise. A higher engineering degree is desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or proven equivalent expertise is desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Regional travel up to 50 %
 </li>
 <li>
 Desirable: Arabic proficiency sufficient for client meetings and technical documents.
 </li>
