 General Summary
 
 
 
 The Field Service Engineer will report directly to the Service Centre Manager &ndash; Abu Dhabi and will work on a diverse range of Celeros Flow Technology brands and products as well as third party equipment. The Field Service Engineer will partner with the Field Service and Workshop Teams (as necessary), to provide world class support and solutions to our customers by installing equipment, identifying and correcting equipment faults and by servicing, maintaining and refurbishing equipment at customer sites. The key requirements of this role are to ensure the smooth running of equipment at customer sites and to prepare reports accordingly. The position holder will primarily be required to undertake activities from external locations such as customer sites and will occasionally be required to undertake activities at the workshop in the Abu Dhabi Service Centre, as deemed appropriate.
 
 
 The Field Service Engineer will have a working knowledge and experience of API Pumps, pump commissioning in the field, and pump workshop services.
 
 
 
 Principal Duties And Responsibilities

 Lead the installation of new equipment at site.

 Coordinate with manufacturing facilities to prearrange documentation, parts and information required to enable efficient commissioning and installation of new equipment.

Overview Of The Role:

The Sourcing Engineer is responsible for procuring engineering products required by the Oil and Gas Industries and building strong supplier relationships aligned with Al Futtaim policies. The role includes registering suppliers, handling sourcing on a global scale, and collaborating with internal teams for order and payment management. The Sourcing Engineer contributes to revenue growth through effective sales process management, customer engagement, and by targeting new business opportunities. Additionally, the role involves managing a team of engineers and technicians to ensure efficient process management while remaining compliant with industry standards and regulations.</li></ul> 

What You Will Do:

Sourcing Management</h4> 
<ul><li>
Source various engineering products required for O&amp;G Industries, including pumps, seals, valves, tools, customized items, motors, electrical components, sensors, gas compressors, dryers, and more.</li><li>
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure alignment with Al Futtaim's policies.</li><li>
Register suppliers with Al Futtaim and manage the sourcing requirements globally.</li><li>
Collaborate with the inventory team for order placement and ensure timely payment organization.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"> 
Sales and Customer Engagement</h4> 
<ul><li>
Contribute to achieving revenue, parts sales, and customer engagement by managing an effective parts sales process, increasing customer retention, and executing an efficient distribution strategy.</li><li>
Target lost customers and new sales opportunities, and initiate action plans to secure new business for the Division.</li><li>
Manage customer requirements for on-time delivery considering lead-times, product specification changes, and customer demand.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"> 
Team and Process Management</h4>

Manage every element of the sales process individually and handle a team of 5 After Sales Engineers &amp; Service Managers.</li><li>
Engage 12 technicians to ensure optimal utilization and outcomes.</li><li>
Provide timely quotations to clients, ensure order delivery, and maintain minimal receivable levels.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"> 
Market Knowledge and Compliance</h4> 
<ul><li>
Remain updated with the latest regulations, standards, and best practices within the Oil and Gas industry.</li><li>
Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, trends, economic indicators, and competitors.</li></ul> 

Required Skills To Be Successful:

What Qualifies You For The Role: 
<ul><li>
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in sourcing for Oil &amp; Gas Industries.</li><li>
Proficient in SAP and experienced in handling techno-commercial contracts and long-term agreements with O&amp;G customers.</li><li>
Good knowledge of compressed air system equipment, pumps, gas compressors, seals, valves, and sensors used in O&amp;G industries.</li><li>
Experience in the UAE/ME region is an advantage, along with sound business acumen and excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.</li></ul>
