Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracting/Procurement Specialist to join our Operations team. This role will manage the full lifecycle of contracts and procurement processes, while also supporting edtech-specific requirements such as RFPs and documentation for education partners. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant vendor and partner management.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Lead and coordinate the preparation, submission, and tracking of RFPs and related applications in the edtech sector.
</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to compile required documentation and ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
</li><li>Maintain templates, processes, and resources to streamline future RFP participation.
</li></ul><ul><li>Draft, review, and manage subscription agreements, service contracts, and other legal agreements with all the parties involved.
</li><li>Maintain a centralized contract and agreement database, ensuring all documents are accurate, up to date, and accessible.
</li><li>Monitor compliance with contractual terms and proactively manage renewals, amendments, and terminations.
</li></ul><ul><li>Lead the procurement process from requisition to purchase order, aligning with company policy and budget.
</li></ul><ul><li>Develop standardized processes for contract and RFP management to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
</li><li>Identify opportunities for improving how we engage with customers and vendors through procurement processes.
</li>Provide guidance and training to internal teams on best practices related to contracts, agreements, and RFPs.

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Experience: 3&ndash;5 years in contracting, procurement, or related roles, with experience in the edtech sector .
</li><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field.
</li><li>Skills: 
 
 
<ul><li>Proven contract negotiation and management expertise.
</li><li>Strong procurement and supply chain knowledge.
</li><li>Hands-on experience managing RFPs, proposals, and related edtech applications/documentation .
</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
</li><li>Familiarity with contract management software/ERP is a plus.
</li></ul></li></ul>Preferred/Bonus Points:
<ul><li>Knowledge of data privacy regulations relevant to education (COPPA, FERPA).
</li><li>Experience working with SaaS agreements and subscription-based models.
</li></ul>Salary: Total compensation of $70,000&ndash;$75,000, plus bonus, stock options, and full benefits.
