Job Title: QA/QC Engineer &ndash; Crushers Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Location: Site / Crusher Facility Reports to: Plant Manager / Operations ManagerJob PurposeTo ensure all quality control and quality assurance activities in the crusher plant are carried out in accordance with company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for developing quality control procedures, monitoring production processes, inspecting materials, maintaining documentation, and ensuring the final output meets required quality standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for crushing operations.</li><li>Prepare and update Quality Control procedures, ITPs, NCRs, and Inspection Checklists.</li><li>Conduct inspection and testing of raw materials (e.g., blasted rock), intermediate products, and final aggregates.</li><li>Monitor and ensure compliance with ASTM, BS, ACI, and project-specific standards for aggregates and crushed materials.</li><li>Coordinate with the Production and Maintenance teams to ensure continuous improvement in crushing efficiency and product quality.</li><li>Conduct sieve analysis and other laboratory tests to ensure output meets required gradation and specification limits.</li><li>Perform routine inspections on crushers, screens, conveyors, and storage stockpiles to ensure proper operating conditions and product segregation.</li><li>Identify and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), recommend corrective actions, and follow up on closure.</li><li>Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, test records, calibration logs, and quality reports.</li><li>Ensure proper calibration and functioning of testing instruments and lab equipment.</li><li>Liaise with Clients, Consultants, and Third-Party Laboratories regarding quality inspections and approvals.</li><li>Conduct internal training and awareness sessions on QA/QC procedures for staff.</li><li>Ensure Health, Safety &amp; Environmental (HSE) compliance is integrated within all QA/QC activities.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;7 years of QA/QC experience in Crushers / Aggregates / Quarry Operations.</li><li>Strong knowledge of aggregate standards (ASTM C33, BS EN 12620, AASHTO, etc.).</li><li>Experience in sieve analysis, flakiness &amp; elongation index, crushing strength tests, and other material tests.</li><li>Familiar with QMS requirements (ISO 9001:2015).</li><li>Proficient in preparing documentation for QA/QC reports and project compliance.</li><li>Strong understanding of HSE practices in quarry/crusher environments.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Attention to detail with strong documentation abilities.</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills (English required; Arabic is an advantage).</li><li>Ability to work in field/plant environments with extended site presence.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Based at Crusher Site (Outdoor and Indoor working conditions).</li><li>May require extended working hours as operational needs dictate.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentApplication Question(s):<ul><li>What is your salary expectation?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>aggregate standards (ASTM C33, BS EN 12620, AASHTO: 5 years (Required)</li><li>sieve analysis, flakiness test, materials tests: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Fujairah (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
