We're looking for a Mechanical HVAC Engineer who will work collaboratively as part of the estates team to provide a full operation, maintenance, engineering and building service that meets statutory and contractual obligations.
 
 
 
 Role Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Carry out day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance to HVAC systems across the estate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform diagnostic checks, fault finding and repairs using multiskilled knowledge and experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure assets are maintained in accordance with contractual requirements, HTMs, HBMs and manufacturer's instructions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Accurately complete all work-related documentation and update CAFM systems in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

 Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Served a recognised trade training scheme to NVQ Level 2 minimum (or equivalent) in plumbing or mechanical engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in a maintenance environment (hospital or healthcare experience advantageous).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.

We are seeking an experienced gas engineer to join our busy team to carry out service, and repairs on domestic heating and hot water systems for our customers.
Overview of Role: 
The primary responsibility of the Heating Engineer will be to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that the heating &amp; hot water systems are operating efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li> 
Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.</li><li>
Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.</li><li>
Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.</li><li>
Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.</li><li>
To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.</li></ul>
Key Attributes &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>
Gas qualifications are essential for this role including as a minimum CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.</li><li>
Out of Hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis is required as part of this role</li><li>
A friendly and professional attitude to build strong relationships with clients &amp; tenants</li><li>
It is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us.</li></ul>
Working hours are:<ul><li>
5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm - 40 hrs</li></ul>
1 hour for lunch daily, call out rota to go on doing evenings &amp; weekend work.
