This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact our supply chain strategies through data-driven insights and process improvements.Duties<ul><li>Manage inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or AS400. </li><li>Conduct root cause analysis to identify inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, or overstock situations, implementing corrective actions promptly. </li><li>Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiations to optimize pricing and supply terms. </li><li>Utilize data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Nielsen to visualize inventory trends, demand forecasts, and supply chain performance metrics. </li><li>Perform demand planning and forecasting by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and retail merchandising insights to ensure optimal stock levels. </li><li>Coordinate with logistics providers and 3PL partners for shipping &amp; receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling activities. </li><li>Lead process improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and materials management through lean methodologies or Six Sigma principles. </li><li>Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely for stock movement within warehouses. </li><li>Collect data for financial modeling related to inventory valuation, pricing strategies, and supply chain costs to support decision-making. </li><li>Monitor inventory KPIs regularly to ensure compliance with company standards while supporting e-commerce fulfillment channels.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in supply chain management with a strong background in warehouse distribution and inventory control. </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as SAP or AS400, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. </li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data mining, root cause analysis, and financial analysis related to inventory and procurement. </li><li>Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, contracts management, and category management. </li><li>Experience with demand planning, production scheduling (MRP), logistics coordination, and materials handling is highly desirable. </li><li>Familiarity with retail management environments or e-commerce operations is a plus. </li><li>Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory. </li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments including merchandising, procurement, logistics, and finance. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory management. We are seeking candidates who are motivated, accurate, reliable and efficient customer service oriented team members. Previous experience working in the inventory service industry preferred, but not required. You will be responsible for counting inventory for major retailers. Some travel is required, with carpool generally provided from a meet site for those inventories over 30 miles outside of your assigned territory.
Qualifications:<ul><li>
No experience necessary.</li><li>
Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>
This position requires bilingual Spanish / English speaking candidates</li><li>
Must have reliable transportation to inventory sites. (public or private)</li><li>
Must have a reliable means of communication (phone).</li></ul>
Position Requirements:<ul><li>
4 &ndash; 8 hours on average (we commit to being on site until job completion) of stepping up on step stools, kneeling, standing, and stooping down to count merchandise from top shelves to bottom shelves.</li><li>
Accuracy is a must. Entering data into a handheld collection device (10-key data entry) accompanied by a handheld scanner.</li><li>
Frequent reaching and stretching to view merchandise. (Duration varies based on customer type.)</li></ul>
