 The successful applicant will work on the development and application of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) for water remediation. The successful candidate will join a young yet highly energetic team dedicated to leveraging chemistry, reaction engineering, and manufacturing principles to address pressing challenges in the water sector. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists and undergraduate students.  The Sreenivasan Lab at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a Research Assistant to conduct studies examining working memory in human subjects.  Research in the Sreenivasan Lab (http://nyuad.nyu.edu/sreenivasan-lab) focuses on the neurobiological mechanisms that constrain working memory ability. Our projects involve collaborations with Psychology and Biology faculty at NYUAD as well as Psychology faculty at NYU New York. The neuroimaging facilities at NYUAD include a 3T Prisma MRI, MEG, EEG, and eye tracking.
 
 
 Responsibilities of the position include collecting behavioral and neurophysiological data, programming experiments and analysis routines, as well as managing the day-to-day functioning of the lab.
 
 
 Candidates must hold a bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent, though a master&rsquo;s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MATLAB or an equivalent programming language, strong computational skills, and a background in experimental psychology or neuroscience. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience and interest in addressing questions about working memory using neuroimaging. Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

 The Micro- and Nanoscale Bioengineering Lab (MNBL) at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking to recruit a research assistant to study various human diseases using an organ/organoid-on-a-chip approach. Applicants with a strong background in designing and fabricating microfluidic devices and cell culture are encouraged to apply.
 
 
 Research in the MNBL focuses on designing and fabricating microphysiological systems to study various diseases affecting multiple human organs in vitro. Our project involves collaborations with the faculty of Bioengineering and Biology at NYUAD. Responsibilities of the position include growing cells in organ-on-a-chip microfluidic devices, characterizing them using downstream analysis such as bioimaging and omics analysis, and testing new potential drugs on these cells. Junior Research Scientist in the Division of Engineering (MNBL) - Dr. Rafael Song

 The RNA Modifications, Intellect, and NeuroDegeneration (RNA-MIND) Laboratory in collaboration with the Center of Brain and Health of New York University Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a Research Assistant to join our laboratory focused on stem cell biology, neuroscience, and molecular mechanisms of human disease.
 
 
 The successful candidate will work with human cell lines, embryonic stem cells, and iPSCs, including their generation, characterization, and differentiation into cortical neurons and brain organoids. Experience with organoid culture, cryo-sectioning, microscopy, and MEA functional assays is highly desirable.
 
 
 Expertise in CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing (knockout and correction) and in NGS workflows&mdash;such as ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, miRNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq preparation, and CUT&amp;RUN&mdash;is strongly valued. Strong grounding in molecular biology techniques (Western blot, Northern blot, immunostaining, PCR/RT-qPCR, cloning, RNA work) is expected. Some of the possible research topics include: (i) social media analysis, (ii) collaboration and teamwork, (iii) gender inequality, (iv) diversity, (v) online controlled experiments, and (vi) network science.
 
 
 The ideal candidate is self-motivated and hard-working with a Masters degree in Data Science, Computational Social Science, Computer Science, or Information Science, or a bachelor&rsquo;s degree with several years of experience and expertise in their field. The position requires experience with at least one of the following: Data Science, Machine Learning, Computational Social Science, Big Data. Relevant skills could include statistical analysis, data management and collection, causal inference, network analysis, graph theory, visualizations, and online tool development.
