 Wood is recruiting for a Liquid Hydrogen Expert to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible to execute the activities and processes associated with Business Development of a Liquid Hydrogen opportunity, under Business Development scope. The expert shall possess excellent creative engineering and commercial skills, project and stakeholder management with strong leadership qualities, and with knowledge and experience in liquification and storage of cryogenic gases (such as LNG and Hydrogen) and conversion technologies with abilities to oversee the development

  Responsibilities

 </strong>
 The Liquid Hydrogen Expert will be responsible:
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Lead the hydrogen infrastructure development process from initiation to conceptual design
  </li>
  <li>
   Framing the Liquid Hydrogen Business Opportunity
  </li>
  <li>
   Development of a Project Initiation Note along with the supporting business case and definition and implementation of liquid hydrogen production and storage facilities.
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop a project portfolio framework for liquid hydrogen business
  </li>
  <li>
   Conceptual design of liquid hydrogen production, storage and dispensing systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Identification and selection of optimum technologies and design including techno commercial assessment
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with others to develop and integrate liquid hydrogen production and storage tanks and transportation systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Work with suppliers to identify the most efficient and cost-effective components for liquid hydrogen systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Design liquefaction systems for liquid hydrogen or other cryogenic systems
  </li>
  <li>
   Evaluate equipment and processes to optimize performance and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop operating, measurement and control philosophies and organization for integrated hydrogen infrastructure integrating stakeholders and future plans
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage commitments and timelines and provide presentation and strategies to leadership team
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage the development and design of energy conservation projects
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct site inspection, visits and meetings with stakeholders.
  </li>
  <li>
   Engage with green hydrogen suppliers to secure competitive supply for the project.
  </li>
  <li>
   Engage with commercial and legal advisors as appropriate to manage the risks of the project and overall supply chain
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop scope for Pre-FEED study, market analysis, and Class IV cost estimate to prepare FEED packages.
  </li>
  <li>
   Work with technology licensors to create ITTs for technical and commercial proposals.
  </li>
  <li>
   Pre-qualify vendors and evaluate bidders' proposals technically, commercially, and contractually.
  </li>
  <li>
   Align project plan and deliverables with co-developers.
  </li>
  <li>
   Engage selected vendor for engineering study and monitor progress and quality of deliverables.
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop bankable commercial structure and work with treasury to engage financial advisors in securing bank and ECA fundings
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare needed documentation to seek required Board approvals as and when needed
