You will be responsible for overseeing daily treasury operations, cash management, ensuring optimal cash flow management, mitigating financial risk, and compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, you will contribute to financial planning and analysis by providing insights and recommendations.

Key Performance Indicators:
<ul><li>Achieve a forecast accuracy rate of 90% for short-term cash flows.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and achieve a zero-error rate in financial reports.</li>
<li>Cash reconciliations and coordination within team for treasury function.
</li><li>Develop dashboards to measure the drivers of business performance, financial and cash forecasts and provide insight to team</li>
<li>Be able to put together an efficient way of cash forecasting and close to real-time reporting to management</li>
<li>Funding Liquidity management</li>
<li>Detailed accounting for all borrower collections and interest remittances to investors</li>
<li>Accuracy of financial transactions, including weekly cash reports, liquidity forecasts, calculations and payment processing.</li>
<li>Accuracy of financial data input and reconciliation.</li>

Key Responsibilities:
Cash and Liquidity Management:
<ul><li>Monitor daily cash positions and forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements.</li>
<li>Execute cash management strategies to optimize liquidity while minimizing idle cash balances.</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely funding for operational needs.</li>
<li>Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend investment strategies to maximize returns while managing risks.</li>
</ul>
Banking Relationships:
<ul><li>Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.</li>
<li>Negotiate banking services, fees, and terms to optimize banking relationships.</li>
<li>Evaluate and recommend changes in banking partners as necessary.</li>
</ul>
Cash Flow Forecasting:
<ul><li>Develop accurate cash flow forecasts to support operational and strategic decision-making by collaborating with people across the organization.</li>
<li>Analyze variances between forecasted and actual cash flows and provide explanations and recommendations.</li>
</ul>
Risk Management:
<ul><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk.</li>
<li>Develop risk management strategies to protect the organization's financial health.</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to treasury operations.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations related to financial matters. Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.</li>
</ul>
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
<ul><li>Prepare accurate and timely reports on treasury activities, including cash balances, investments, and debt. Be able to reconcile cash and book journal entries to support month end closing.</li>
<li>Develop Dashboards to provide in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, or process improvement. Present findings to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards. Address audit findings and implement recommendations for improvement as necessary.</li>
<li>Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, including senior management, board of directors, investors, and external partners. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support organizational goals and initiatives.</li>
</ul>
Internal Controls and Process Improvement:
<ul><li>Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
</li><li>Identify opportunities to streamline treasury processes and enhance efficiency, accuracy and scalability</li>
<li>Implement best practices and automation tools to improve accuracy and effectiveness.</li>
<li>Lead or participate in treasury-related projects to support business objectives.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.</li>
<li>A master's degree or professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) may be preferred.</li>
<li>3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or auditing, Knowledge on Islamic finance or Shariah-compliant lending a plus.</li>
<li>Understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines governing finance operations, including US accounting standards and local regulatory frameworks.</li>
<li>Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills and attention to details</li>
<li>Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics</li>
<li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and across all levels of an organization.</li>
