 Develops detailed Engineering drawings based on the concept developed the Structural Engineer in line with the Class rules &amp; yard standards.

 Conducts site surveys as per the work scope along &amp; Prepare field checks, take dimensions &amp; site modification proposals.

 Develops Structural Material Take Off (MTO) based on the work scope &amp; survey.
 </li>

 Develop 3D Model from the Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings &amp; export shop drawings for fabrication.

 Develop Lifting Plans for structural modules &amp; design of Jigs &amp; fixtures required for fabrication.

 Develop drawings within the Estimated drawing schedule prepared by the Engineer.

 Ensure that drawings are checked before issuance to avoid rework by carefully updating the drawing check list

 Experience:

 At least 5 years' relevant experience in drawing development of offshore structure such as Jackets, TOP sides, Jack up rigs (new ne Build).
 </li>
 <li>
 A very sound knowledge of auto computer aided design (ACAD) is essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Steel detailing Software TEKLA is essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Relevant experience in Marine design, preferably in shipyard with at least 5 years of core experience in ACAD.

Responsible for the self-checking attitude prior issuing drawings for checking (run a clash check in the 3D model of the items or area shown on the drawing, ensures structural compliance with structural specifications, connectivity of steel members is maintained, piece-marking system is in accordance with established guidelines, position and orientation of sites, zones, and strus are maintained etc.).

 Coordinates with all disciplines (as necessary) in the preparation and development of the engineering deliverables and ensuring that the other disciplines&rsquo; input is incorporated.

 Responsible for interfacing with other disciplines to resolve any clashes that may be arise. If the clash cannot be resolved easily or will be resolved later, then it should be noted down according to procedures.
