As a Field Service Engineer - Mechanical Heavy Duty Gas Turbine, you will be responsible for:</b></p><ul><li>
Performing all preventive maintenance activities on Frame 5 single shaft and double shaft :majors inspections, HGPIs, LTPIs and CI</li><li>
Performing all preventive maintenance activities on Frame 6 :majors inspections, HGPIs, LTPIs and CI</li><li>
Performing borescope inspection</li><li>
Performing installation, commissioning and startups of GTs</li><li>
Handling mechanical Inspection of the gas turbine's auxiliaries system</li><li>
Handling mechanical Inspection of the gas turbine's gear boxes</li><li>
Performing laser alignment</li><li>
Reviewing and implementing NICs/TILs</li><li>
Responding to the Buyer's technical inquiries utilizing BH technical support services.</li><li>
Maintaining a documented history of all mechanical modifications for the Covered Units.</li><li>
Supporting Buyer's operation &amp; maintenance staff with diagnostics counselling and addressing maintenance /operational issues on Covered Units.</li><li>
Performing Equipment start-up, diagnostic and troubleshooting</li><li>
Performing Water wash procedure</li><li>
Performing lube oil and cooling water systems flushes as per recommended procedures</li><li>
Performing Pre-commissioning and commissioning of oil system, starting system, fuel gas system, air system</li><li>
Advising on the interpretation of drawings for installation optimization</li><li>
Working closely with the Instrumentation Engineer during the Maintenance/installation, calibration and set-up of electrical instrumentation</li><li>
Marking up all piping drawings to show piping modifications</li><li>
Performing geometric dimensional checks of foundation, equipment and auxiliaries&rsquo; skids positioning, levelling (ensure levelness and elevations of sub-sole plates and perform contact checks between sub-sole plates and package supports) and alignment</li></ul><p></p><p><b>

To be successful in this role you will:</b></p><ul><li>
Have a bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited university or college</li><li>
Have more than 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil &amp; Gas/ Power/ Refinery/ Turbomachinery industries.</li><li>
Be able to perform major Inspections and overhauling independently of HDGT &ndash; Frame 52.</li><li>
Have maintenance experience in stage 2 nozzles.</li><li>
Be able to perform Laser Alignments &amp; Borescope inspection on all machines.</li><li>
Experience in frame 6 is preferred.</li><li>
Be legally authorized to work in the UAE.</li><li>
Be ok to work offshore.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
