We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented<b> Coordinator, Livestreams </b>to support the daily operations and execution of our live and breaking news programming on the streaming platform.</p><p></p><p>
This role will be integral to ensuring the accurate, timely, and engaging presentation of live news feeds, alerts, and curated packages for a global digital audience. Working in close collaboration with the newsroom, control rooms, linear programming, and digital Owned &amp; Operated (O&amp;O) platforms, the Streaming Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, execution, and monitoring of news content, including exclusive live events and recap packaging.</p><p></p><p><b>
Your Role Accountabilities&hellip;</b></p><p></p><p><b>
Live &amp; Breaking News Support</b></p><ul><li><p>
Monitor and manage incoming live feeds, including international and domestic line feeds, and direct them to appropriate streaming channels.</p></li><li><p>
Collaborate with newsroom and control room teams to ensure real-time alignment with editorial priorities and breaking news workflows.</p></li><li><p>
Oversee the streaming presentation of live breaking events, including the deployment of <b>on-air graphics</b>, lower-thirds, and breaking alerts in coordination with digital O&amp;O programming when necessary or relevant.</p></li><li><p>
Ensure synchronization and editorial alignment across streaming and linear broadcasts, adjusting stream presentation for platform-specific needs.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Platform Merchandising &amp; Programming</b></p><ul><li><p>
Schedule and update the featured news content rails and carousels on the streaming homepage.</p></li><li><p>
Support recap content programming, working with editorial teams to schedule timely post-event highlights and curated news packages.</p></li><li><p>
Track, schedule, and surface exclusive live content that is unique to the streaming product, ensuring effective placement.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Cross-Functional Collaboration</b></p><ul><li><p>
Serve as a point of contact between Global News, Linear Programming, and Digital Programming to align live news experiences across platforms.</p></li><li><p>
Partner with metadata, content operations, and digital production teams to ensure assets, descriptions, and imagery are accurate and platform-optimized.</p></li><li><p>
Liaise with Product and Data teams to report bugs and optimize workflows for breaking news delivery.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Operational Excellence</b></p><ul><li><p>
Use content management systems (CMS) and other tools to execute updates and troubleshoot in real time.</p></li><li><p>
Monitor platform performance and alert appropriate teams to bugs, outages, or high-impact issues during major news events.</p></li><li><p>
Support continuous improvement by identifying and documenting process enhancements to improve speed, accuracy, and user experience.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Your Qualifications &amp; Experience&hellip;</b></p><ul><li><p><b>
Experience:</b> 1&ndash;3 years in a newsroom, live production, digital media, or streaming environment.</p></li><li><p><b>
Editorial Acumen:</b> Strong understanding of breaking news dynamics and editorial standards.</p></li><li><p><b>
Operational Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Experience with CMS platforms and digital publishing tools.</p></li><li><p>
Ability to manage real-time updates and troubleshoot under deadline pressure.</p></li><li><p>
Familiarity with control room operations and/or live video workflows.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Communication &amp; Collaboration:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p></li><li><p>
Proven experience collaborating across editorial, technical, and operational teams.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><b>

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery&rsquo;s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $51,106.00 - $94,910.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
