 The Procurement Manager is responsible for organizing and supervising the purchasing functions of the regional business; managing the daily activities of sourcing/bidding of day-to-day requests entered in the ERP System and capital project purchases; managing local contracts including administering, negotiating, reviewing, renewing, filing, and evaluating procured materials for availability, price, term, and is consistent with the quality and service required.

 Major Job Responsibilities/Duties
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Purchase Orders
 
 <ul>

 Source and procure at the lowest cost, consistent with the quality and services required.

 Approve and distribute POs to vendors and requestor(s). Standardize product listing when deemed applicable for all PO&rsquo;s entered in the ERP system, whilst following SOP and SHECS guidelines for compliance.

 Utilize preferred &amp; and national vendors when applicable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Execute Emergency Purchase Orders (EPO) as needed following SOP guidelines &amp; and procedures.

 Service as the main contact between internal customers and vendors.

 Monitor critical orders, provide resolution as issues arise - expedite orders, address defective goods, returns &amp; and service-related inquiries.

 Sourcing:

 Sourcing/bidding of day-to-day requests entered in the ERP System or sent via email and capital project purchases.

 Support Accounts Payable related issues: Resolve PO/Invoice related discrepancies, provide

 AP with general ledger or PO information for invoices, confirming and clearing PO liabilities, and ensuring correct invoiced pricing.

 Vendor Compliance:

 Ensure compliance amongst existing and new vendors, including vendor documentation, insurance, and contract requirements based on service level.

 Compile and distribute weekly Open Order Reports. Assist in ensuring receipts of goods and services, and resolving discrepancies communicated by internal customers.

 Education / Qualifications Requirements

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team at our Houston Hobby Resort in Texas!
Assistant Managers oversee day-to-day operations of the resort and staff, as well as providing direct support to the Resort Manager on a variety of management needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF OUR ASSISTANT MANAGER INCLUDE:
<ul><li>Overseeing daily operations of the resort by maintaining standards of conduct, cleanliness, and safety</li><li>
Managing resort labor, which may include but not be limited to creating and posting staff schedules, reviewing and approving timecards, and controlling labor hours to align with business needs</li><li>
Communicating recruitment needs to operations management and HR, and interviewing, hiring and onboarding new resort employees</li><li>
Supervising, training and coaching team members on company standards, policies and procedures, while also identifying high performers and developing them for growth within the company</li><li>
Motivating and teaching resort staff to be successful in their roles by delivering premier service to pet guests and their parents in a safe, clean, fun atmosphere</li><li>
Fostering open communication throughout the resort, including with regional and corporate teams, regarding resort operations, as well as partnering with regional maintenance crew on any building issues</li><li>
Supporting new and current team members with completion of required courses and other training</li><li>
Documenting and delivering employee corrective actions and terminations, when necessary</li><li>
Maintaining appropriate inventory of supplies, performing walk-throughs, managing lodging calendars, leading meetings, and performing other recurring Manager on Duty (MOD) obligations</li><li>
Maintaining excellent customer service metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and reviews on Google and other social media sites</li><li>
Speaking with customers if they have concerns, questions or complaints, maintaining a high level of professionalism, care and concern</li><li>
Developing methods and procedures to increase sales, promote new business, retain current customer base, and attract new customers</li><li>
Performing resort opening and/or closing duties, and other tasks as assigned</li><li>
Maintaining 5-day workweeks (which currently run Monday-Sunday) onsite at the resort, with no more than 3 consecutive &ldquo;off&rdquo; days from week to week</li><li>
Working onsite at the resort at least 3-4 weekend days per month and on holidays</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS TO BE AN ASSISTANT MANAGER:<ul><li>
One to two years&rsquo; experience in a supervisor or management role</li><li>
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills including the ability to guide, direct, and motivate employees</li><li>
Ability to resolve conflict and negotiate with others</li><li>
Detail-oriented and focused on results, including a desire to ensure all goals are met or exceeded</li><li>
Ability to develop and train staff, build relationships and utilize skills of staff most appropriately</li><li>
Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs</li><li>
Comfortable working in front of house and back of house roles within the resort</li><li>

The Associate, Procurement (Wind) is responsible for supporting the wind turbine procurement team at Clearway Energy Group in facilitating strategic vendor relationships and securing the equipment needed to advance Clearway's multi-gigawatt project pipeline. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of wind turbine technology and the renewable energy industry. This position will support turbine procurement strategies that ensure the timely delivery of quality owner-furnished wind turbine equipment to projects and provide administrative and stakeholder coordination support to the wind procurement team.

This hybrid position will report to the Senior Manager, Procurement (Wind) and can be based in Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, San Diego, CA, Houston, TX, or Scottsdale, AZ offices.

What You'll Be Doing</h2>
<ul><li>Support the procurement team in transactions and internal reporting for owner-furnished wind turbine equipment and long-term service agreements in close coordination with development, construction, and operations business units</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute sourcing solutions for multi-technology projects</li>
<li>Support competitive RFx bidding and contracting efforts in coordination with internal stakeholders and OEMs.</li>
<li>Provide document support and input on supply and service agreements with vendors and stakeholders to ensure efficient closure of negotiations and stakeholder review</li>
<li>Take ownership of and negotiate key exhibits to relevant contracts and ensure stakeholder review and engagement</li>
<li>Facilitate the procure-to-pay process for owner-furnished wind turbine equipment, including vendor qualification and onboarding, vendor selection, TSA negotiations, long-term service agreement negotiations, internal approvals, issuance of purchase orders, management of payments, logistics, and quality assurance</li>
<li>Maintain records of received turbine and service bids and work with internal SMEs to generate forward-looking technology and cost projections for owner-furnished wind turbine equipment</li>
<li>Support technology assessments and reviews of existing and upcoming turbine platforms, and effectively communicate the opportunities and risks associated with each technology</li>
<li>Assist internal project and engineering teams with coordinating RFIs to equipment manufacturers</li>
<li>Assist with the project financing process, facilitating inputs from OEMs and interdisciplinary teams to independent engineering (IE) questions</li>
<li>Provide key inputs to cashflow models in support of the organization's liquidity optimization</li>
<li>Support internal updates and reporting of organizational and procurement progress and status</li>

<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in business, management, supply chain, engineering/technical degree, or related field</li>
<li>3+ years of wind industry experience</li>
