This person will take ownership of working directly with the Lead Encounter Designer and cross-discipline team members to help formulate solutions for and help create memorable gameplay encounters that will thrill and excite our players.
 Daily responsibilities<ul><li>
Work with the Lead Encounter Designer, Quest, Open World, Level Design, Environment, and Gameplay teams to design memorable combat encounters based on predefined narrative, environmental, and gameplay themes.</li><li>
Adjust predefined quests and locations by utilizing NPC setups, interactive objects, loot, and environment to create a challenging playthrough with multiple solutions.</li><li>
Work with Level Designers and Environmental Artists to ensure level geometry serves the needs of combat encounters.</li><li>
Mentor and guide junior encounter designers.</li><li>
Dedicate yourself to understanding all player verbs, allowing yourself to craft divergent experiences that cater to all available playstyles.</li></ul>

All full-time social workers are provided with monthly group supervision.</li>

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Requires Master&rsquo;s Degree (MSW) from an accredited School of Social Work to be obtained prior to employment.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Massachusetts Licensed Clinical Social Worker
EXPERIENCE:
Requires level of knowledge of Social Work process and community resources and agencies in relation to health, illness, and disability, generally acquired through one to two years on-the-job training. Pre MSW experience will be considered.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:<ul>

Knowledge of community resources and agencies that serve the adults, children and families.</li>

Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with various healthcare professionals, to develop and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with patients and families.</li>

Must be comfortable in a fast paced and dynamic work environment (sense of humor is valued).</li>
<li>
Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team.</li>
<li>
Cultural sensitivity and comfort with a wide range of racial and ethnic populations. Bicultural/Bilingual competency a plus.</li>

Computer literacy with ability to use standard word processing, spreadsheet programs and e-mail (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and web browsers.</li>

Compensation Range:
$33.46- $34.81
