<b>What you will do:</b><br>
Contribute to the research, development and deployment of signal processing and machine learning algorithms for Oura features/products.
<br>Conduct early stage exploratory research to identify and characterize new potential sensing features and functionality. Develop proof-of-concept features and work with a cross-functional team to take these from POC to a commercialized product.
<br>Design and support internal and external data collection studies to develop, evaluate, benchmark and improve new biomarkers and algorithms.
<br>Document, summarize, and present data analysis and algorithm performance results with concrete actionable recommendations for a broad audience on a regular basis.

Requirements

<b>We would love to have you on our team if you have:</b><br>
Have a PhD degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, biostatistics, computer science or a related field with 3+ years of work experience, OR a Master degree in related fields with 5+ years work experience. Experience with biosignal or movement data is a plus.
<br>Have experience building and deploying machine learning models from start to finish (i.e., data wrangling/queries, data cleaning, model building & tuning, statistical evaluation of model performance). Experience deploying on the edge with compute-limited devices is a plus.
<br>Have 3+ years of solid programming skills in Python and experience with code collaboration tools (git, peer review, etc). Experience with C/C++ is a plus.
<br>Have some experience with signal processing methods and time-series analysis (FIR/IIR filters, Kalman filtering, adaptive filtering, stochastic processes, etc)

As a ML engineer with the AGI team, you will be responsible for leading the development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations to advance the state of LLMs. You will collaborate closely with Applied Scientists and leverage Amazon&rsquo;s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate development of multimodal Large Language Models and Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions.<br>

</b></p><p>The Clinical Scientist fellow will act as a key clinical interface with the Medical Lead to provide scientific, clinical, and operational input contributing to the clinical development programs at Vertex, working on cross-functional study teams for the design, execution, and monitoring of clinical trials, as well as assisting with data interpretation and communication.
