The engineer will work closely with operations, maintenance, and project teams to support new installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, evaluate, and optimize chemical processes for oil &amp; gas and industrial process plants.</li><li>Perform detailed chemical process design, including mass/energy balances, PFDs, and P&amp;IDs.</li><li>Select equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, reactors, separators, compressors, and distillation systems.</li><li>Conduct hazard identification and safety studies (HAZOP/HAZID) and perform risk assessments.</li><li>Implement and enforce safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.</li><li>Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.</li><li>Analyze plant performance data to identify improvements that increase reliability and reduce downtime.</li><li>Troubleshoot operational issues related to process equipment and plant systems.</li><li>Support project execution from conceptual engineering through commissioning and start-up.</li><li>Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and technical documentation.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.</li><li>Strong knowledge of chemical process design, equipment selection, and system optimization.</li><li>Deep understanding of safety standards (OSHA, API, NFPA, ISO) and quality control systems.</li><li>Proven experience in oil &amp; gas, petrochemical, or large industrial process plant operations.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and process diagrams.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and access to a personal vehicle (required for site travel).</li><li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, Petro-SIM, ChemCAD).</li><li>Familiarity with FEED and EPC project workflows.</li><li>Track record of contributing to major industrial projects, plant upgrades, or expansions.</li><li>Knowledge of reliability engineering and continuous improvement methodologies.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Combination of office-based engineering work and on-site plant activities.</li><li>Requires wearing PPE and following strict safety standards.</li><li>Occasional travel to project sites, clients, or vendor facilities using personal vehicle</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
