Leads the global strategy for Supplier Quality to drive best in class reliable and compliant supply base. Develop the processes, procedures, and management systems for evaluating, approving, and maintaining Supplier Quality performance.</li><li>
Support Procurement strategic initiatives by ensuring engaged, productive resources are assigned and projects are aligned with overall strategic roadmap.</li><li>
Develop and maintain a deep partnership with procurement to shape strategic plans for management of all aspects of the supplier lifecycle.</li><li>
Define and maintain the supplier quality management program, including risk management, quality assurance agreements, quality control plans, supplier performance management, supplier surveys and audits, and supplier inspection plan/method evaluations.</li><li>
Controls and Maintains addition of new suppliers and/or changes to the Approved Supplier List.</li><li>
Drive effective root cause analysis investigations, demonstrating the judgment to challenge suppliers or internal teams when necessary to achieve sustainable corrective actions.</li><li>
Ensure Business Segments supplier quality needs are captured, defined, and considered for inclusion in the Enterprise Supplier Quality Roadmap.</li><li>
Manage the Supplier Quality Center of Excellence (COE) comprised of directly managing Supply Quality Engineers (SQEs) and indirectly Quality Engineers globally.</li><li>
Assess supplier process capability in connection with new product development, initial supplier selection, and specification improvements.</li><li>
Work with Supply Chain Managers (SCM) and Quality Managers to identify potential suppliers who are at risk and team-up with other cross-functional groups to plan and execute recommended supplier quality improvements.</li><li>

Establish a risk-based annual supplier audit schedule and resource its execution.</li><li>
Work with SCM and Quality Managers to analyze non-conformance data, facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.</li><li>
Identify and coordinate the requirements to deliver Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs).</li><li>
Actively communicate with SCM Buyer/Receiving team to ensure all dispositioned NC parts to/from vendor are handled timely with proper documents (RMA/EMO).</li><li>
Facilitate the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues within assigned projects and suppliers.</li><li>
Develop Supplier Quality programs with key suppliers to ensure Oceaneering&rsquo;s quality needs are met; work directly with supplier locations to assist with problem resolution and opportunities for optimization.</li><li>
Analyze and rationalize product and supplier specifications to establish efficient, cost-effective requirements for ease of manufacture and reproducibility.</li><li>

Produce written standards, processes, procedures, reports and make presentations.</li><li>

Qualifications</b></h2><p>

10+ years of experience in Quality / Supplier Quality Engineering positions.</li><li>

Vendor Visit Reports (VVR) &ndash; Complete and submit VVRs upon completion of surveillance activities, including checklist usage, verification of NCR closure, nonconformances, pictures of equipment, and summary of execution. Remote Assessment &ndash; Execute remote assessments via live observation or recorded review using ICT tools per Company's Remote Assessment Guide. Certificate of Conformance &amp; Databook Review &ndash; Review CoC and ensure availability of MRB/Databook per IADC Guidance GU-IADC-SC-004.</li><li>
Equipment or Services equipment failure resolution and Nonconformance Management: Raise nonconformance for any defect or noncompliance observed during vendor surveillance activities.
