Support supplier development e.g. capability, adequate Quality controls, Quality Assurance mentality, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA&rsquo;s), Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Value Engineering to drive out cost.</p></li><li><p>
Takes ownership of and lead investigations into reasons for negative trends in Supplier Quality and Delivery.</p></li><li><p>

 POSITION SUMMARY
 <br/>
 Procurement Specialist II is responsible for medium and high criticality materials, equipment and subcontract sourcing events. Expectation is expert level knowledge of procurement processes and procedures. Additionally, a Procurement Specialist II should develop negotiating strategies, assign work and oversee and mentor lesser tenured peers such as Procurement Specialist I and II. This role supports sourcing activities for both estimating efforts in the Deal Development phase and Procurement Execution activities throughout the life cycle of a project from RFP solicitation through award. The Procurement Specialist II must be proficient in commercial analysis of bidders' proposals, writing and submitting award recommendations and conducting bidder conferences. Responsibilities also include maintaining supplier relationships on awarded contracts and communicating with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency with the Project Management Team.

 Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in industrial construction, EPC projects or similar industries such as power, oil and gas, petrochemical, or large engineered equipment

The Supervising Engineer has complete responsibility for profitability, quality and schedule performance for their engineering team(s). <li>Work with project engineers to ensure project teams apply engineering standards including the NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI</li>

Minimum Qualifications / Experience
<br>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. Must be a licensed professional engineer with over 15 years experience in the industry. If registered in a state other than where the engineer will practice, the employee must be able to obtain a license within one year of date of hire. Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in both substation engineering and design, along with the ability to oversee multiple projects, are required.
