 The Staff Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for the acquisition of materials, equipment, and services focusing on contract negotiations and material cost reductions. They will manage the supplier/contractor qualification and selection process by interfacing directly with internal customer(s).  Develop and execute ready for operations (RFO) strategies to ensure operational reliability.

 For enterprise-wide services, collaboration with the category management team to define and implement suppliers&rsquo; strategy and foster key suppliers&rsquo; relationship.

 Develop a wholistic North American Strategy in support of operations excellence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead major and critical contracts&rsquo; negotiation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and Implement contract compliance strategies.
 </li>

 Closely collaborate with other SCM teams to ensure alignment on category strategies, strategic improvement initiatives, market intelligence gathering and business analytics.

 Establish deep industry insights, leveraging market intelligence and analytics to develop longer-range supply strategies and plans that drive significant value while meeting business needs.

 Support SCM key initiatives as required (i.e., business integration projects and system implementation projects).

 Manage team&rsquo;s budget and cost codes strategically and effectively

 Education

 Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field of study required. Master's degree preferred.
