The attorney will support a growing trusts and estates practice representing primarily high-net-worth clients; perform transactional work, including drafting wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and operating and shareholder agreements; quantify tax impacts of estate and business succession plans; and work on estate and trust administration matters, including structuring the administration plan, supervising the preparation of accountings and estate and gift tax returns, and addressing procedural and disputed matters. Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, quantitative (e.g., computational abilities and ability to work with spreadsheets), matter management, and executive functioning skills are required. A strong work ethic is also required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of progressively responsible experience in trusts and estates practice. A license to practice in Florida, an LLM in tax, experience in corporate and transactional work, or three or more years of experience will be highly regarded.
