Seasonal Housekeeper

Job Title: Housekeeper / Room Attendant (Part-Time)

About the Role

Join the team at the Hampton Inn in Rexburg! We are looking for detail-oriented, reliable Housekeepers who take pride in providing a clean, welcoming stay for our guests. This is a Part-Time position with predictable seasonal hour increases.

Compensation & Growth

• Starting Pay: $12.00 per hour.
• Performance Raise: Increased to $12.50 per hour after 60 days of employment and completion of initial training.

Hours & Seasonal Schedule

• Standard Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week (depending on your weekday availability).
• Our winter operating hours are 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with an extension to 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. beginning in May. Please be advised that these hours fluctuate slightly based on daily departure times; candidates should be comfortable with a dynamic daily schedule.
• Peak Season (April – October): As travel increases with the opening of Yellowstone National Park, hours will pick up to 20–30 hours per week.

Firm Availability Requirements

• Long-Term Commitment: We require candidates who can commit to at least 6+ months of employment.
• Break Coverage: Candidates (including students) must be available to work during the 7-week break periods.
• Weekly Shifts: Must be available for 2–3 weekdays per week.
• Weekend Commitment: You must be able to work two full weekends per month (both Saturday and Sunday).
• Note: Working two Sundays per month is a firm requirement for this position.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and Sanitize: Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Maintain Standards: Ensure every room meets Hilton’s high standards for cleanliness and guest comfort.
• Stock Supplies: Replenish linens, towels, and guest amenities.
• Teamwork: Work efficiently with the housekeeping team to ensure all rooms are ready for check-in.
