About the Role
Works Real Estate is seeking a Principal Broker to lead our Seattle market, support our high performing Zillow partnership and support brokerage growth across the region. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced broker who enjoys mentoring agents, managing compliance, and helping a brokerage expand through recruiting and agent development.
This role blends broker oversight, recruiting, agent support, and operational leadership while also helping agents maximize opportunities through our strategic Zillow partnership and lead generation platform. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable handling both high-level broker responsibilities and day-to-day brokerage management.
Compensation & Additional Earnings
- $50,000 annually
- $500 bonus for the first 5 deals closed by agents you recruit

What You’ll Do:
Broker Oversight & Compliance
- Review listing and escrow files to ensure brokerage compliance with state regulations.
- Provide broker-level guidance for agent questions, disputes, and transaction issues.
- Address compliance concerns, client complaints, and risk management situations.
- Ensure brokerage marketing and business practices follow Fair Housing and real estate law guidelines.
- Protect the brokerage by proactively identifying and managing high-risk situations.
Agent Support & Development
- Manage the brokerage Open Phone line and Offer Review support line for agents.
- Host monthly workshops and training sessions to support agent success.
- Produce valuable training content for agents across the brokerage.
Zillow Partnership & Lead Performance
- Support agents in maximizing opportunities through Works Real Estate’s partnership with Zillow and Zillow Preferred lead programs
- Help agents improve Zillow lead conversion and response time performance
- Monitor Zillow performance benchmarks and support agents in maintaining strong metrics
- Assist with Zillow workshops and training sessions to help agents succeed with online leads
- Partner with leadership to ensure the Seattle market continues to perform at a top tier level within Zillow’s partner network
Recruiting & Brokerage Growth
- Maintain a consistent recruiting pipeline and track recruiting activity.
- Support brokerage expansion and recruiting initiatives across markets.
- Track recruiting metrics and reporting in internal dashboards.
Recruiting Bonus:
Earn $500 for each of the first five deals closed by agents you personally recruit.
Brokerage Operations
- Support day-to-day operations of the Seattle office.
- Coordinate agent community events and service projects.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct daily listing file reviews (30–60 minutes).
- Manage open broker support lines for agent questions.
- Track recruiting activity and maintain reporting systems.
- Update weekly brokerage reporting dashboards.
What We’re Looking For
- REQUIRED: Active Washington Principal Broker license
- Strong understanding of brokerage compliance and real estate regulations
- Proven recruiting or agent growth experience preferred
- Leadership and mentoring experience with real estate agents
- Highly organized with strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
