Job Description

GEMS Royal Dubai School is a vibrant, premium British curriculum school, currently educating students from FS1 to Year 8. We are proudly expanding to include a Nursery in January 2026 and Year 9 in September 2026, with a strategic growth plan leading to Year 13. With a diverse student body of over 850 students from more than 48 nationalities, our school combines a strong sense of community with a commitment to the highest academic standards. As we continue to grow, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our new, purpose-built secondary campus in September 2026 — a state-of-the-art facility designed to further enrich the world-class education we offer.

Due to growth, we are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals to join us as a Secondary Inclusion Leader for September 2026. The successful candidates will be self-motivated, have proven success in driving standards and be committed to the pursuit of excellence for all. Job Purpose:

To teach and lead inclusion across Key Stage 3 (growing into Key Stage 4 and 5) enabling an outstanding, holistic, and

dynamic experience for our students which lead to exceptionally high outcomes.

Skills

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Be committed to the pursuit of excellence for all learners, including those with additional needs, high performing students and English Language learners.
  • Demonstrate very strong knowledge of inclusion leadership and practice across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, including alternative pathways.
  • Deliver consistently outstanding teaching and learning experiences, collaborating and sharing best practice, using

student data to optimise progress by planning and personalising learning

  • Ensure effective and rigorous assessment, recording and reporting of students’ provision, progress and attainment
  • Have a High-Performance Mindset, being reflective and solution focused
  • Be creative and enthusiastic in approach to teaching
  • Be committed to the safeguarding of, and the personal and social development of students
  • Work effectively with colleagues, students, parents and outside agencies using excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have aspiration to work in a World-Class school with real prospects for career enhancement
  • Make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events
  • Actively pursue your own professional development as a teacher/leader, keeping abreast of current research and UK

best practice.
