Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective science lessons across various disciplines including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for secondary school students.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities while adhering to the national curriculum.
• Provide regular assessments and feedback to students, monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement.
• Encourage the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive teaching methods and hands-on laboratory activities.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the teaching curriculum and participate in school events and science fairs.
• Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest trends in science education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Proven experience in teaching secondary science, with a strong record of improving student outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary science curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated passion for education and inspiring students in science.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic school environment.
