Section Head Planning Engineer

Master Link Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead the planning and scheduling activities across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed project schedules, monitoring project progress, analyzing delays, and ensuring effective coordination between project teams to achieve project milestones on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

• Prepare project baseline schedules including work breakdown structures (WBS), resource loading, and cost loading where applicable.

• Monitor and update project schedules based on site progress and provide accurate forecasts.

• Analyze project performance, identify schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions.

• Conduct critical path analysis and monitor project milestones and deliverables.

• Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans when delays occur.

• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure alignment with project schedules.

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and planning dashboards for senior management.

• Support claims preparation, delay analysis, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions when required.

• Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred).

• 10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling within construction companies.

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.

• Strong experience in baseline scheduling, progress tracking, and delay analysis.

• Good understanding of construction project lifecycle and coordination between disciplines.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large-scale construction projects.

• Knowledge of project control systems and cost control integration.

• Ability to manage multiple project schedules simultaneously.
