Job Title: Security Officer – Beach Operations

Job Summary:

We are looking for vigilant, disciplined, and professional Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of our beach premises, guests, and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in public safety, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in any situation.

This role involves active patrolling, monitoring guest activity, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Beach Area Monitoring:
Patrol the beach and surrounding areas regularly to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property. Monitor for any suspicious activity or safety concerns.

- Guest Safety & Assistance:
Assist guests with directions, lost items, and general inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Provide support in emergency situations.

- Incident Response:
Respond promptly to incidents including accidents, altercations, or unauthorized activity. Provide first-line support and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.

- Access Control:
Ensure only authorized personnel and guests enter restricted areas. Monitor entrances and exits as required.

- Reporting:
Document and report any incidents, damages, or irregularities during shifts. Maintain accurate and timely logs.

- Crowd Management:
Assist in managing guest flow during peak times or special events to prevent overcrowding or unsafe behavior.

- Coordination with Teams:
Work closely with beach operations, cleaning, and lifeguard teams to maintain a safe and pleasant environment.

- Equipment Checks:
Ensure security equipment such as radios, flashlights, and surveillance tools are functioning properly.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in security

- Physically fit and able to patrol large outdoor areas

- Strong observational and communication skills

- Able to speak and understand English

- Calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations

- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures

- Valid security guard license or certification

Preferred:

- Experience in a beach, resort, or outdoor hospitality setting

- Good English communication skills

Work Environment:

This is an outdoor role that requires long hours on foot and working in hot, sunny, or windy beach conditions. Candidates must be available to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
