Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure perimeter security.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified.
• Enforce safety protocols and conflict management procedures to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for accountability and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during investigations or urgent incidents as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations professionally.
• Knowledge of security procedures, including access control, emergency response, and incident reporting.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods; physically capable of performing patrol duties.
