Job Description

As a Security Guard - Reatil Store in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and provide clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and access concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, including checking credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and escalating concerns per post orders.
Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate relevant information during shift turnovers, and use radios and/or other systems to support site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 2+ years of Security Experience is required.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
