Security Installation Technician

In this role, you’ll install, program, and service advanced security and low-voltage systems for commercial clients. Overall, you’ll be helping businesses protect what matters most.

What You’ll Do

• Install, wire, and configure commercial security and life safety systems (access control, cameras, alarms, smart technology).
• Program and integrate systems to meet client needs and ensure full functionality.
• Troubleshoot, test, and fine-tune installations for accuracy and reliability.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, team members, and project managers.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold a professional appearance.
• Follow through on commitments and ensure projects are completed to standard.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in security systems, low voltage, or related installation work preferred (we’re willing to train motivated candidates).
• Familiarity with wiring, electrical basics, and construction site practices.
• Strong communication skills: Able to speak confidently and respectfully with clients.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Safety-minded and dependable; able to work independently or as part of a team.
• A professional appearance and demeanor that reflects pride in your work.

Expectations Once Hired

• Obtain NICET Level I certification within 1 year.
• Obtain Limited Electrical Installer License within 2 years.
• Commit to Teton Smart Security’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer care.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 40–45 hours per week
• Pay: Based on experience

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Construction: 2 years (Preferred)
