Security Officer

The Security Officer will provide a secure environment during their scheduled hours, including the night shift, assuring that incoming and outgoing staff are secure in reaching their cars or the Hospital building safely. The Security Officer has contact with Hospital employees, visitors, and patients. The incumbent has access to confidential information and must be able to maintain confidences. The employee must adhere to all safety related policies and procedures.

Hours/Shifts
80 hours biweekly, varied shifts including days, evenings and nights, with 8 and/or 12 hour shifts.

Compensation
Hourly Wage Range: $18.15 -$21.86/hour, with a $1.70 shift differential when working the evening or night shift. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

  • Education/Special Skills: To perform in this position satisfactorily prefers a high school or equivalent level of education, and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. This position requires current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months.
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
  • Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
