As a Security Officer Credential Screening in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, and support a professional, welcoming experience for visitors and staff. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and/or delivery areas to help support authorized movement of people, packages, and equipment in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Assist with security-related reports, visitor logs, key or badge accountability, and other assigned duties that help support daily operations and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
