Security Officer
As a Security Officer Credential Screening in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a logistics and distribution location.

Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and/or delivery areas to help support authorized movement of people, packages, and equipment in accordance with post instructions.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Assist with security-related reports, visitor logs, key or badge accountability, and other assigned duties that help support daily operations and emergency response activities.
Minimum Requirements:

Have 2+ years of security-related experience.

Be 21+ years of age.
-
Customer service experience is preferred.
-
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
