Security Officer Access Control
As a Security Officer Access Control Coordinator in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, check identification and/or shipping documentation, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting emergency response activities and established post orders.

Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery logs, communicate with dispatch and/or site contacts, and document security-related incidents according to Allied Universal guidelines.

Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, yards, docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may need attention.
Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
