Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Rover Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents through a highly visible presence, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm professionalism. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver a welcoming customer experience. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and/or company policies; participate in required training and qualification activities.
Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site leadership and public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and/or access control documentation; monitor surveillance systems and support client operations by reporting unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
