Job Description

As a Security Officer - Auto Auction Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or media location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, documenting observations and submitting required reports.
Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate contact while following site guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving and relaying information, contacting appropriate responders, and assisting with security-related incident documentation.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control notifications as assigned, escalating unusual activity per post orders and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age.
The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
