Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Working with integrity and teamwork, you will support daily operations in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require security-related attention.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support compliance with location rules for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
Prepare clear reports on patrol activity, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns, and relay information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
