Job Description

As a Security Officer - Driver, Multi-Site Patrol in Ashville, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic location, helping to maintain a secure environment through high-visibility rounds, access awareness, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting site personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license that meets AU Driver Policy Requirements, and a team-focused mindset rooted in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Monitor access points and interior areas, assist with visitor check-in and badge verification as required, and direct individuals to the appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs, document incidents accurately, and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
